Students Walk out...For Solidarity...

Schools Are Opening Again...
                             Across North America

Schools have opened in the U.S. and soon they will be in Canada too...
Any new start is a happy occasion... New visions and new determination and new hopes ... for a better future...
"Better" is conditional on the perspective of the individual...
Some will see more money in the future...
Some will see more knowledge...
Some will see more peace and understanding among people...
Yesterday was Monday...I love Mondays...They always herald a new start...
A "new start" is conditional on the perspective of the individual...
All is relative... and relativity is relative too...
Indeed don't shoot...
After all, human beings do not shoot for the colour...

Mondays are good...They are the tip of yet another week of trying...and try we do... Even when we drift...Even when we cannot focus...Even when we are belching with ennui...and even we have existential crisis...Mondays are good...They give us the opportunity to refocus...to start yet another time...to reflect with determination and see the rainbow at the end of our vision...
But visions do not terminate...they do not have an end...Nothing terminates...Nothing has an end...

Indeed don't shoot... I am male...but I am afraid...
After all, human beings to not shoot for the gender...

Yesterday was Monday and I was happy...
I saw the determination of African Americans to start anew...The pastors...the community leaders...the Big Brothers...the mothers...the fathers...and the young people...and more young people...They were determined...they had a vision...they had questions...they had yearnings...they were longing...for a better U.S. and a better world order... a better Global Village...
They were chanting and they were praying...They raised their hands up in the air...they raised their fist up in the air...and...and...and...they begged...
PLEASE DON'T SHOOT...!
A simple request...Please don't shoot...
After all, animals fight with each other...Animals kill each other...Some animals are cannibals, even...

Indeed don't shoot... i am just a kid...
After all, children have to grow up...

And human beings are more than animals...whether we believe in God or whether we do not...human beings have the capacity to think and think they must ... and they must share and they must cooperate and they must live in peace...
I love Mondays...It heralds the beginning of a new week...of a new vision...of new determination...of new resolve...of new action to make the world a better place...

University students in solidarity with the community

Yesterday university students walked out of the catastrophically suffocating classrooms... They wanted to be an integral part of society...of the world...I was happy...It reminded me of my university years...We walked out of the classroom a lot...We had a new vision of the world...without wars...in Vietnam, in the Middle East, in Czechoslovakia...We had a new vision in the streets of Moscow and Washington and Chicago and Prague and Paris and London and Toronto and Ottawa...and Montreal...
I was happy yesterday...After all it was Monday and university students walked out of the classroom and joined the community and begged...

PLEASE DON'T SHOOT...!

Students walked out of the classroom to ask for justice...to express solidarity with their fellow human beings...They said..."We understand the position and influence of universities..." and "we will hold these institutions and ourselves accountable in this fight for justice. As young people and students, we see this as a fight  we must join."
And they concluded... "We are engaging the issues of our day by stepping away from our computer screens and textbooks and transforming our thoughts into action. Today, we pay respect to the many lives extinguished by unnecessary police violence. Tomorrow, we will continue in the fight for justice and work to reaffirm the value of every single human life."

Mondays will still come... and you may still join the struggle for human values...for peace...for a world without wars...for a Global Village for ALL...
.... For cooperation and not competition...
.... For sharing and not for greed...

...And the culture of the majority is changing...

White pupils in state schools in the United States are set to be in the minority for the first time when schools return for the new term.

According to official forecasts, enrolments for the 2014-15 school year will mark the threshold when ethnic minorities become the majority.
This demographic shift has been driven by rising numbers of Hispanic pupils.
Figures are gathered by the US Department of Education's National Center for Education Statistics.

It records the number of pupils in the state school system across the United States - and it publishes forecasts of enrolments in the years ahead.

Canada has adopted diversity in culture and in schools for some time now... But discrimination still exists...After all, it is a societal norm and it cannot be legislated...and erased just like that...
The social institutions have to change... The culture has to change...people must be educated ...
Just attending schools will not educate the kids... They have to learn to think for themselves...
In North America... logic and reasoning and thinking are geeky...and geeks are funny ... and no one wants to play with them... the geeks are not cool... They should be made fun of...They should be in "The Big Bang Theory"...
I know a teacher who told us; "I have not studied math after the 10th grade. I hate math..." But he was a middle school teacher who was teaching math...!
I know adults who make a joke..."I am not good at math..." or "I do not know math..." and they laugh....hahahahahahahahahahhahahhhhhhhaaaa...

In North America they take ignorance as a joke...That's why they are promoted to administration - Ps and VPs... In Canada the great majority of school administrators come from the ranks of Gym Teacher, Special Ed teachers ... and in the U.S. the school culture promotes football like a religion...and most sexist incidents originate from the gym... and the gyms and football breed another kind of human being who is indifferent to social norms and values... They have their own sub-culture and sub-norms and sub-values...
I hope they change...I hope you will walk out for change...
Schools are treated as businesses... to generate athletes who generate business and riches to filthy rich owners of clubs...

Check the headline below...

The headline….                                                            3 Reasons Angel Di Maria is worth $100 million         A transfer fee of almost $100 million U.S. has been agreed between Real Madrid and Manchester United for Angel Di Maria….

And the other top money transfers…                                       2013    Liverpool to Chelsea                                Mesut Ozil              £42.4m                                  2011    Real Madrid to Arsenal                           Sergio Aguero         £38m                                    2014    Atletico Madrid to Manchester City       Juan Mata              £37.1m                                  2011    Chelsea to Manchester United               Andy Carroll           £35m

The sums are blasphemous and the culture decadent...                                   When there is war...when there is hunger...when the world is bleeding in Europe and in the Middle east and in Africa...When there is so much pain and so much disease...when Ebola is devastating countries...when Jihadists are beheading minorities...when police are shooting unarmed young men...How can we justify these exorbitant salaries...?
Just make the ticket prices cheaper...make the entertainment cheaper... make the food cheaper...make culture available to ALL...
The North American sums for hockey and football are identical ... the culture is the same... and high schools and universities cater to this infamy... to Big Business and Big Brother...
And unless this culture of greed and profit changes...and unless the high schools and universities return back to their original goals... of educating and preparing the younger generation to think and reason and conduct themselves logically... Things will not change much...
Mondays give me hope...Mondays are a new beginning...and the university students walked out in solidarity with their communities...
Mondays are for hope... and hope we shall...for a better world...for a world without wars...for a world devoid of racism...for a world for peace...
Please do not shoot...and ban the wars... and make the world a peaceful place...
Peace on Earth... The schools are reopening...and new hope is in the air... Look carefully...extend your arms...you can almost touch it...
Walk out of the classroom and smell the reality of your community...
