Just Good News on Sunday...

A World without borders...Will be a Safer Place...Won't it...?

My daughter came from Europe to visit me.
Yesterday they left… It was a wonderful visit…I rather have them nearby, closer to me…but they have their own life…
If I sabotage their independent way of conducting their lives, then I will be a nuisance…a Big Brother and be accused of parental imperialism…
When they left I had mixed emotions…buy I was happy for them…and that triggered a wave of thoughts… a “new” way of looking at things…May be an extension of my thinking from before…
World without Borders...
I am following the wars in the world and some are in a distinct transition from bad… to good and… to conclusion…
Ukrainian is still in turmoil…but I see almost an end in sight…For whatever reason, Russia and the West are almost staying back and there is emerging a NEW Ukraine… of the post-Soviet era…
A new Ukraine which is more democratic and more inclusive than it has ever been before…The Western and eastern Ukraine…Like West and East Germany…will come together and form a modern European country…with all the democratic institutions…and culture will flourish again…

This in turn will define a NEW Russia… Russian post-Soviet imperialism will be defeated and Russia will emerge a more democratic country too… and it will respect the rights of the emerging states…
But Russia will still try to meddle in other parts of the world…as the West does…I think Russian and Western interests will still be at odds in the world and it will still create conflicts… But Ukraine will not be part of it…
I may be wrong…But I see a transition in Ukraine and almost an end to the West-Russia rivalry in this part of the world…
Ukraine will be more democratic and sovereign…than the rest of Europe... Soon…

The news inspires me hope…
Kiev, Ukraine (CNN) -- The Ukrainian government has recognized the contents of 262 Russian vehicles as humanitarian aid for war-weary civilians in the eastern part of the country, according to a statement from the Ukrainian Cabinet office.

Iraq is heralding an end in Islamist-Jihadist adventurism… I think the world eventually came to the conclusion that these Jihadists are dangerous and brutal and not good - neither for the West nor for Russia… After massacring Christian minorities…These Jihadists went after other minorities too…So the world is disgusted and I think there will be an end to this adventure too…
But unlike Ukraine, here the issue is far more complicated and the emergence of a NEW Iraq will envisage a stronger Kurdistan… a stronger Kurdistan will motivate the Kurds in Turkey and Iran to act for a unified country…That will prolong the conflict in the Middle East…and I see a shift from the Palestinian to a more Kurdish focussed activity and new struggles…
Syria will still simmer and with the defeat of the Jihadists may be the Syrian conflict will come to an, at least temporary halt…and a coalition of new kind… based on the present regime and moderate Muslims…

Read the news carefully…
Mosul Province, Iraq (CNN) -- Kurdish forces fired mortars and explosives at extremist militants Sunday as the battle to retake a strategic dam in northern Iraq raged on.
Smoke rose from the horizon, buildings were ablaze and the sound of massive explosions filled the air near Mosul Dam.
The forces face a daunting challenge: fighting a fierce offensive to retake the dam -- without damaging it.
U.S. warplanes joined the effort amid growing concern that the facility is not maintained and could rupture, a U.S. official told CNN.

In the U.S. the week long demonstrations in Ferguson … is heralding a new Civil Rights Struggle… The black and Hispanic minorities will continue their struggle for more rights … and that will make U.S. more democratic too...

Ferguson, Missouri (CNN) -- A person is fighting for his life in Ferguson, Missouri, just hours after a curfew was imposed in order to bring calm to a city that's seen a week of protests and sporadic looting.

Protesters retreat as tear gas canisters detonate.

Police say one male was shot and seven people were arrested in the city where the police shooting of an unarmed black teenager has sparked days of unrest.
Mya White, wearing a red hat in this Aug. 11 photo, was shot in the head Aug. 13 from a passing car during a demonstration in Ferguson.
The world is in a transition…and the minorities are asking more rights…
From Ukraine to Iraq and to Syria and Kurdistan and Afghanistan…and Ferguson, Missouri …the demand is not for democratic rights only…But democratic rights which will respect MINORITIES too…
May be democracy based on one-human-one-vote concept must be supplemented with other rights and concepts to guarantee the security of minorities too…

That is a challenge for the YOUTH too…
May be the youth should stay away from Big Brother democracy and come up with new and inclusive ways of bringing the communities together… The old concept of borders is just set up to divide the world into zones of exploitation …
May be the YOUTH should erase the borders too…
A Global Village for all … A Global Village without borders…

(CNN) -- Dockworkers at a major London port discovered 35 people inside a shipping container Saturday morning.
One of them, an adult male, was declared dead at the scene, according to Essex police Superintendent Trevor Roe.
Several others -- including children -- were said to have "significant health problems," according to a police statement.

In order to cross the borders to a more economically secure place…35 people hide in a container and travel for so many days…
Imagine this…
They must be in so much destitute that they will stay in the container for days...!
What about human needs.........!

Now imagine...
A world without borders…
After all, as Bernard Shaw says...

Borders are just the invention of Big Brother to control people and to satisfy his greed and make profit too...
