VATICAN CHANGES...OFFERS CONCILIATORY WORDS...AS IT SHOULD BE...JESUS ADVOCATED NOT TO JUDGE OTHERS...AND BE MORE CONCERNED WITH THE BEAM ON ONE'S EYE BEFORE JUDGING THE TWIG IN SOMEBODY ELSE'S...

MAKE NO MISTAKE; THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IS INDEED CHANGING...The Church is evolving...and evolution is wonderful…

Evolution makes us breath more freely and the Church should be for freedom…It is excellent that new inclusive outlook is replacing ossified Church dogma…

These are welcome changes... The church should be inclusive and

should not ban any group out... After all, it is not up to us to banish

people and groups from the Church... Jesus preached to welcome all

"tired and oppressed" and leave out none...



·        The official church acknowledged, what lay people had known for

quite some time that non-marital unions have “positive aspects” too…

·        Also, that gays have “gifts and qualities” to offer…

You may call this the “Francis effect” for evolving church dogma… and

replacing the outdated privileged few... and welcoming the broad masses...

But still there are the old ways and there is the history...

The Church should avoid the opulence of the old ways...and share
with all ... The Churches should not be palaces for the few...but rather
the dwelling for all...

Of course we can make bigger and more beautiful...cathedrals...We can do that always...
But when that concept of the "bigger and beautiful" is placed in proper perspective...
When there is so much suffering and misery in the world...When kids go hungry and there are so many homeless around the Global Village... I am certain that God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit and all the other saints and all the prophets of other religions will not mind sharing the suffering and not requiring palaces like the worldly kings and queens...
When the people ar e suffering and when there are scarce resources to allocate...There are no needs for palaces for gods and Jesus will not mind dwelling among the people...on the street...on the side-walks and everywhere else where "two or more people gather in his name..."

God will not mind sharing the abodes of the masses....
Jesus will live on the sidewalks with the homeless...
They will not mind...So it is time to end the opulence of the Churches and it is high time for old dogmas to change and Princes of the Church should severe their ties with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters and unite with the people ... the 99%...

Recently we all were horiffied by the images of the beheadings of journalists by islamist-Jihadists... I was horrified too... it is abhorring and inhuman and inhumane...

But I want to put things in proper perspective... I thought about it...I got dismayed...and irritated and though about it more… I remembered the beheadings in the Judaeo-Christian culture…

Burning of "witches" is a deep scar in the history of the Church...

The pyre and the burning of women...is scareligous...

...and St. Joan of Arc...

The West has its share of atrocities...

The beheading of St. John the Baptist… The beheadings of British kings and queens… The burning of the “witches” by the Church… and the guillotine of the French revolution…

In the early morning of 17 June 1939, Eugène Weidmann became the last person to be publicly executed by guillotine. He had been convicted of multiple kidnappings and murders, including that of a young American socialite.

….And I thought about the prisons in the U.S. and the death row inmates and some who are executed wrongly…

…. And I remembered the lynching of African Americans … The massacres of the aboriginals…

…. I got dismayed and depressed… and realized that the Western – Judaeo-Christian, “holier than thou” approach to current beheadings by Istamist-Jihadists…IS WRONG…

I realized that all the might of the Western world will not be able to overcome the sword of the Islamist-Jihadists… But culture and understanding and cooperation and sharing…might do the trick… After all, I am sure that the cultural inclusiveness is mightier than the Western weapons of mass destruction…

The west should put its GREED aside and attempt to listen and understand the grievances of the Middle East…

Exporting “democracy” is not the answer… May be we should stop the exploitation and the plunder of the region… Maybe we should not be the allies of Saudi Kings and Turkish Islamists … and Turkish denialists of the Armenian Genocide and democratic rights…

Saudis are financing the Jihadists…The Turkish regime is massacring the Kurds and destroying churches… Maybe the West should put down the weapons and talk to the people and NOT THE RULERS…May be the ties of Big Brother to Big Brother should be severed and GREED and exploitation should halt… May be we should start building bridges from PEOPLE TO PEOPLE…

And uphold democratic rights and POWER TO THE PEOPLE…

Three traffic police officers have been fired in Tanzania after their kissing photo went viral, The Post (Zambia) reports. Sources said that the officers were fired on grounds of "gross misconduct in the course of duty".
I guess the police are NOT supposed to be loving...
I guess the police should not love and protect....

I do not see anything wrong...in it... let the police be loving and caring too...Instead of killing young African Americans on the streets...
Love is much better than the brutish shootings of people...

If this happened to any other religion...People will raise a BIG noise...and accusations of racism will will fly around...and Islamist-Jihadists and even the so called "moderate-islamists" will issue a Fatwa...to kill the people...
But I guess Christians are more open and more understanding... and Jesus will not mind... Jesus will love all despite their folly...
And I will never be judgmental....

Western fashion is sexist…

I have always argued against the fashion industry which has treated women as commodities and items to satisfy the GREED of the designers and the sexist culture…

I have always seen something absolutely incongruous when man attend official functions buttoned up to their neck and women with bare shoulders and cleavages and all the rest…

And I though about this more intensely these past few days... and I attempted to put things in a better perspective...

I also had difficulties with Islamic fashion... But today I am trying to combine both into a single thought...

To be truthful...

I rather have this........... than this....

And in the abstract, by itself...I have problems with these...

But than I read about the Esquire...magazine...and saw the photos on it...(see below)

The "old fashioned" Islamic attire... at least does not treat women as commodities... At least it is not commercializing women...for sale and for prostitution....
