Where there is Life...There is HOPE...

I attended a talk-presentation by Reddit's Ohanian... 

In this day and age "ALL the young should learn the basics of coding...," Ohanian urged...

I wanted to see him - I always wanted to see more of the innovators and how applaud them and their vision of tomorrow...

Big Brother... Governments want the control back... They do not like too much democracy... They want to control the "internet" and the people...

He looked very much like any young kid any of my students or just like you ... full of vision and enthusiasm and action... He stressed two basic facts...
1. That internet democratized education and knowledge and news distribution... That people do not depend on the Big Brother reported to gather news and disseminate knowledge...
Another democratic fact is that I can discuss what I want and I do am not a hostage in the hands of Big Brother news media...
I can vent my frustration about anything as long as I am willing to devote time and write on the web...
Reddit continued the democratization and Twitter and all the rest did the same...
2. Because of the democratic norms and redistribution... Big brother does not particularly like the innovations and wants to control the news and information again...
The governments talk about democracy... but when it come to it... they do not like too much democracy... They want to control things... and they want to control people and they want to decide how you live your life... how much liberty you should have... and how you have to pursue for happiness... They are 

democrats in talk, but dictators in action...

They are always with the 1%... They are in fact part of the 1%... and there cannot be democracy with just 1%...

Listen to the tech kids... and use the internet to create and to connect with each other and create communities and protect your rights and develop and spread democratic norms...

It is up to you... and you can do it...

When there are so many hungry and destitute and slum dwelling kids... to waste money on an ego-trip-of-a-jacket... is a sin...against the people...

And "We the people" do not like and appreciate this developing arrogance in India's Big Brothers...

Dubbed one of the world's most expensive suits, it sold at an auction Friday. It cost a cool 43.1 million rupees, Surat District Magistrate Rajender Kumar said. The suit is a popular icon. In addition to belonging to Modi, it had his name embroidered in golden pinstripe all over it.

Now Modi's Jacket becomes an object of rarity... and is auctioned for $691 890...

In India people are dying of hunger... In India there are villages without clean running water... In India there is religious tension among Hindi-Sikh-Muslim communities... In India the Caste system is still dominant... In India women are raped in the buses and in villages and killed at random... and in India the Prime Minister wears a "Modi Striped"  $16 084 jacket...
It is not only asymmetrical... but outright sacrilegious and sin...
A friend had written to me that Modi, the Prime Minister comes from humble origins... and I had hope for a better and more open India... where the spirits of Ganges will flourish and embrace all ... Not only the Big Brothers of Mumbai... 
I guess I was mistaken again...

British and North American News outlets dwelling on the juicy gossip... After all, what is the importance and the significance of North Korean dictator's hair style...

Maybe these "pundits", as they like to call themselves, should write about the homeless and their plight after the sever snow-storms that hit the North America...

But I think it is too much to expect from the "pundits" who serve the Big brothers...

Alexis Ohanian in his discussion and presentation stressed that now the news is democratized too... and I can write this and post it... freely... without resorting to Big Brother controlled and Big Business media...

And "We the people"... should and must use these democratization... 

BE INSPIRED... GET INVOLVED... 

MAKE A DIFFERENCE...

What the fuck... the women looks happy...!

I am always apprehensive when I enter an elevator with so many strangers and a box hanging from a metal rope...

The sheikh of Dubai and his relatives have so much money from oil that they are building and commissioning new and out of this world building...

And one of the high rises catches fire...There were no deaths or injuries, and the fire was out three hours after it began

It is a well orchestrated miracle that there were no deaths... I am sure they will do the same when another high rise building for "We the people" catches fire... I am sure they will rush and save the people... and there will be no deaths... to report...

Maybe I am not so sure... but as Hawking says... "Where there is life, there's hope"...

And "We the People" will outlive the Big Brothers and always innovate and democratize and rely on ourselves and HOPE... for a better Global Village where people share and live in harmony...
