We are bombarded by ads with skinny people who look sick and unhealthy and not real... We are cheated out of our health for unhealthy concepts of beauty... which at times are even delusional...
The fashion industry, as any other industry, do not care about the human cost and sets up imaginary and STUPID standards... and in almost always target the teens and the youth ... After all these groups are the most vulnerable... impressionable... and money to waste.
These are the groups that may be cheated easily... and industry will target them...
But,
There was a time when beauty was defined in a healthy way... There was a time when things were more natural... less plastic... and people were less delusional ... they defined beauty as part of the natures flow... and an extension of nature... There was natural beauty and people were more relaxed and the "rat race" did not stress people out of there senses... "To be like the Johns's" is the invention of our consumer society and the thin-sick-unhealthy fashion is part of it...
France may follow Spain, Israel and Italy...
At times even the City of Light has to follow in setting the trend... and it may soon
follow Spain, Israel and Italy down the runway of countries banning
too-skinny and so ugly and not-healthy models.
The sick and... the NOT HEALTHY... and the UGLY...
These are not natural... These are not healthy... These are not even beautiful... And I hope you will not be dismayed on my assertion... After all, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder...
And hence,

hiring them. Staffers who encourage unhealthy weights could even face
jail. While the thin-obsessed French capital isn’t leading the way
on this, at least it’s arriving to the party fashionably late.
It is better to be fashionably late... than not get engaged in the new trend and new fashion and arrive a healthier definition of beauty...
I have seen girls and women struggle all their life to shed few pounds... to be "more beautiful..." These vulnerable women make both themselves and their community to suffer an chase an imaginary... concept... Just like the windmills of Don Quixote...

Fraternities with their violent sexual culture are making headlines for weeks now......And Penn State is not new to the sexual violence scene... the football coaches and athletes had their share of scandal for few years now... and now another fraternity...
A
Pennsylvania State University fraternity has been suspended after
allegedly posting on a private Facebook page compromising photos
of women, including some who appeared to be asleep or passed out.
The
ex-frat member told police that the victim was visiting the
fraternity when she saw a topless photo of herself after a member
accidentally left his Facebook page logged in, the affidavit said.
The
affidavit included photos of women and screen shots of cellphone
text exchanges, including one from a woman who allegedly had no
recollection of a sexual encounter and whether birth control was
used.
In
the Sandusky case, the sensational trial featured the testimony of
eight young men who said they were sexually abused by Sandusky --
either groped in a car, soaped by him in the shower or sexually
assaulted on a basement waterbed.
"We
hope that Penn State officials will stop patting themselves on the
back and start instituting real reforms to make the campus safer
for students," said Clohessy, whose group includes members
who were allegedly molested by religious figures of all
denominations.
