Weekend thoughts: GREED and PROFIT or COMMUNITY and Sharing ...That is the question...

GREED and PROFIT or COMMUNITY and SHARING...
That is the QUESTION...!
If it is ONLY satisfying our insatiable GREED and ONLY for PROFIT...are we any better than the monkey above... or the donkey below...?
That is the QUESTION too...!

The Tea Party thinks we are...!
Then the question for them is... What will life be like...
Where the Tea Party Rules?
I was pondering about this question for a week now...and now I have decided to pose it publicly...
I was thinking...What will life be like under the Tea Party rule...Will it be any better than life under the Islamic Jihadists...?
After all, both are the dictatorship of religious zealots and bigots camouflaged under social norms ...
I definitely will not want to live under any religous party... Their FATWA - religous rules, or dogmatic outlook scares me... Actually that is exactly why I did not want to live under the Soviet rule...
Islam is GOOD ... But Islamic Jihadists are the perverted caricature of Islam... After all, Islam is for PEACE but the Jihadists are murderous hordes...
Christianity is GOOD... But the Tea Party is the dogmatic bastardization of Christianity... Jesus was tolerant and preached PEACE... The Tea Party is anything but charitable... They have a strict dogmatic view of the world and that is the very negation of democracy... They remind me of the Big Brothers in China or Russia... They remind me of the Islamist Jihadists of Iraq and Syria...!

Check the rule of the Tea Party...
Lima in Ohio is a good sample of what these Tea Party fascists will bring to us...
Amid abundance...families are in debt and poverty....
Lima is a working-class city in Allen County, Ohio, situated on Interstate 75, roughly halfway between Dayton and Toledo. Set amid the rich soybean and corn fields that still provide the region with a quarter of its revenue.
But the Tea Part politicians who rule Ohio and Lima have made the city a dust bin of poverty...

People left the the houses are vacant...

By the 1970s, the slump in American manufacturing led Lima's factories to cut their workforces, and some began to close.
As unemployment rose, so did crime.

The city's white population, which had been moving to the townships for years, now fled in record numbers. In Lima, race riots broke out during the late 1960s, driving home prices down even further.
By the early 1980s, the city established itself as a major stop on the heroin route...

The Tea Party... Ohio's governor and senator and politicians contributed to the decline of the state and Lima too...

Of course this is the economic face of the  Tea party...Lima is a good sample of their economic policies...and of course their religious dogma and intolerance is similar to the Islamic Jihadists...

Both are scary... Both are undemocratic...and both are minorities hungry for power...

Actually, the similarity of Islamic Jihadists and the Tea party, reminded me of Margaret Atwood and The Handmaid's Tale... The dogmatic political system compounded with religous bigotry ... brought the scenes from Atwood's novel back and terrified me...

Horrifying similarities...of the novel and the Jihadists...read below...

A comparison between the fiction of the Handmaid's Tale and the current way we blame the victims of rape

The handmaid's taleThe Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood is a beautiful and disturbing book. It tells the story of a dystopian future where women are only valued for their fertility. Wealthy women who cannot have children are given a Handmaid with whom the Wife’s husband has sex in order to impregnate her. The Handmaid has no job other than this.
Handmaids are not allowed to use their given name; instead they are named after their male “owner.” Handmaids wear a  uniform of sorts that covers every inch of their bodies. And they are not allowed to read. When a Handmaid is sent to get food for the household, she takes a list with pictures on it which she uses to shop. Women below a certain class simply do not matter as people, only as incubators.

The society of Gilead in Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale is based upon a set of corrupted Christian values, and for this reason, the Tea Party, the Islamic_Jihadists, the Church in general are relevant to a number of the themes presented in the novel.  Gilead prevents women from gaining any real measure of power, rather, they are delegated to positions such as handmaids and unwomen, and even the Commanders Wives have essentially no control over anything other than their own household.
This is similar to the structure of the Church’s ministry, in that essentially all positions of power are controlled by men...

The similarities in the power structures, and

the fact that Gilead is based upon perverted
Christian values forces the reader to look at
the same structures of power in our world,
and to see how religion is even now
reinforcing structures that engender
GREED and WAR and intolerant power
structures of Big Brothers…

The Jihadists and the Tea Party are the
corrupted versions of religion and they are the
two faces of the same coin... craving for power,
greed, profit, bigotry and laws based on
dogma and perverted religious views...
They represent wayward and tyrannical ideas
and fatwas

Pro-democracy demonstrators recapture part of bustling district in Hong Kong

Democracy activists are attacked by the Big Brother police and here a student is crying...
Police are "serving and protecting" the Big Brothers...and dismantling the barricades erected by pro-democracy activists...
Police actions and brutality... reminds me of the police in dismantling the "Occupy Wall Street" and "Ocuppy LA" camps...
Police arresting and then beating activists....

The police in rows...Reminded me of Ferguson... in St. Louise

In Hong Kong or in Ferguson...Check the police in action...

The police force...of the Big Brother in Hong Kong...
Very similar to police attacks in Ferguson...
Wow they are similar…!
How they learn the same tricks…?
Activists use the umbrellas to protect themselves from

pepper spray...

Check…  They have the "The Hands Up”…
Just like Ferguson kids…

Pro-democracy activist reoccupy some streets...

Democracy activists on the streets again...

Democracy is not only the right to vote…It is sharing and community…
Democracy means equality in law…and not be discriminated because
of gender or colour or economic standing…
Democracy means economic rights too… It is the right to work…and

the right to live a decent human life…
