Happy Thanksgiving Canada...Soon in the U.S. TOO....

Sunday...
I hope there is sun wherever you are...
After retirement I am always in the sun mentally and of course,                                                                     physically...
Sunday,
Day to relax...reflect...re-energize...
May be you can do a count... How many smiles you                                                                                                     caused...
and, how many self serving arguments you initiated...
My day began with Divine liturgy... and coffee with some liquer in it...and then hiking on the hills...Coffee again...this time just black...and Gregorian Chants... Later, a concert...Granados and Brahms... and a walk in the park admiring the colours and
Enrique Granados

  Johannes Brahms

celebrating Mother Nature...It's Canadian Thanksgiving Eve... and a glass or two...maybe three of vodka...But please don't drink and drive...Drink and stay in the woods...admire the colours and play with the spirits...remember Shakespeare...and relax...
Sunday is for relaxing and dreaming and re-energizing for the next week...
May be you can decide... next week more of smiles and less of             squabbles...
Smiles on the other face makes you happy too... So why not                multiply the smiles...
After all its Thanksgiving weekend in Canada...and soon it will be in the U.S.
The autumn colours always have enchanted me and elevated my spirits... The autumn leaves have added extra flavour to my walks... They have always made me happier...
***
Happy Thanksgiving ... Canadian Friends...
We should be thankful for Mother Nature... Mothers are always kind and nurturing...
I asked students to bring autumn leaves from their provinces/states...and they did...
From Vancouver to Nova Scotia and from LA to New York...
The leaves were almost identical...in both Canada and U.S.
And the customs are the same in both Canada and the U.S.
The pumpkin is identical on both sides of the border...
The colours are the same on both sides of the border...
Go out...Enjoy the colours and hug Mother Nature...Like you hug your mother...
And have Thanksgiving WITHOUT borders...
Be thankful for the Land of Free...and admire the colors and defend the freedoms...
Beautiful...Like YOU... and enchanting like the spirits in the wind...and in the branches and in the leaves...
...Play with the animals ...Don't be lonely...Take your friends with you...
...And think of the cold days and the winter that is around the corner...

Dream and smile and by happy...Life is worth celebrating...
and thanksgiving...
Remember...The Sun will come out tomorrow...and the day after too...
Just relax...and enjoy the colours and the music and the drinks and dream BIG...
Be enchanted...
Reflect...
Smile...
and Be inspired...
and Get involved...
and Make a Difference...
Sunday is for you...
It is Thanksgiving in Canada...
Soon...It will be Thanksgiving in the States too...
