Democracy is from the BOTTOM UP... and NOT from Top to bottom...

Democracy starts with the people and it is for the people...
Money does not define democracy... and if democracy depends on money, they it is a polluted and perverted democracy... or it is not democracy at all...
Western culture is based on money and greed and profit... so everything it touches will go sour and will corrupt the system..
When candidates are defined by how much money they raise... then it is not democracy...
Yesterday the "pundits" and journalists were debating which candidate will succeed... and they were referring which one of them will raise more money... Jab Bush... or new jersey Governor, Christie or Mitt Romney... The three are vying for donations and the big money will decide which one will be the flag bearer...of his party...
But money should not corrupt and pervert and pollute the system...
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS
TRICKLE DOWN DEMOCRACY…
DEMOCRACY IS FROM THE BOTTOM UP…
Neither Big brother...nor the police decide the boundaries of freedom... Freedom with boundaries is not real freedom... so the demonstrators are correct in demanding justice for all... regardless of race and colour and creed...
The police will not define the limits of people's freedoms... and they should not and must not be above the law...
If police will be considered above the law, then the democratic norms will be on very shaky ground...
Read below and...
Be Outraged...
Tamir Rice was a twelve year old kid and he was playing with a TOY GUN... the police arrived and withing THREE SECONDS of meeting the kid they shot him twice...
and now read the rest...
As Tamir Rice's 14-year-old sister rushed to her brother's side upon learning he'd been shot, police officers "tackled" her, handcuffed her and placed her in a squad car with the Cleveland officer who shot Tamir, her mother and a Rice family attorney told reporters Monday.

The mother, Samaria Rice, was threatened with arrest herself as she "went charging and yelling at police" because they wouldn't let her run to her son's aid, she said.

They arrested the 14 year old sister, because she was grieving for her brother...and then...

Samaria Rice, the mother,  said she calmed down and asked police to release her daughter. They told her no, she said. Not only would they not release her daughter, but later, she said, they made her choose: Stay with her daughter or accompany her son to a hospital.
...and they wonder why even professional athletes are protesting...

I am very pleased that these athletes are supporting the community...and demanding justice...
Keep up the protests... stay calm... and keep the protests       non-violent...Justice is on the people's side...
Democracy is not defined by the barrel of a gun...
Democracy is not defined by money bags...
There is no such thing as trickle down democracy...
Freedoms start with the people and democracy is defined as bottom up... the police are for the people... not the other way round...
The governments are for the people... not the other way round...
Big Brother democracy... IS NOT DEMOCRACY...
Big Brother values are defined bu money... and money is a corrupting factor of everything... Money has polluted our norms and money has perverted our values...
People should reclaim their freedoms... and redefine our societal values...
Be inspired by the demonstrators...
Get involved... in peaceful protests...
And,
Make a difference...

PEACE ON EARTH
:Today   is   the   tenth  day    of    Advent:
and my neighbour has all the house lit... My neighbour's house is in joy... and all dressed up and ready to part...
Today I put up outside lights too... not as extravagant as my neighbour... but enough to be noticed...
Our house is in joy too...
The Prince of PEACE is coming to town...
Wake up with a carol in your heart and get involved... make peace on earth reality
**********************************************
Be active and usher in PEACE...
