Organized religion... yearning for Power...
Question: What
relationship does the Islamic State have to Islam?
Some answers: "Absolutely nothing" is the answer almost
every Western politician gives. For
example, U.S. President Obama adamantly stated in a televised speech that the Islamic State "is not
Islamic."
Question … How
come Christianity has various denominations and sects and groupings and Islam
cannot have various sects and groupings?
There are many
splits in the Christian faith from the early times…
1. A major split
between Catholics and Orthodox at the Council of Chalcedon held in AD 451…

2. Another
major split initiated by Martin Luther and John Calvin and others… The protestant Reformation or just the
reformation … which was a major schism within Western Christianity… whereby the
Catholic Church and the early Protestant churches were established…around 1550s…

So now
Christianity has three major movements the orthodox Christians…the Roman and Byzantine
Catholics…and the Protestant and Evangelical Churches…

And each has
various sects within them…
Also the major
schisms in the Christian Church have been followed by BLOODY WARS…
Christian Values...and Violent traditions...
Burning stacks..
Crusaders...
Christians killing Christians...
So if it can
and has happened within the Christian Church it CAN happen in Islam too…
To start with…
At age 40, he reported at this spot in the mountains that
he was visited by Gabriel…and
witnessed his first revelations…from God.
Three years after this event Muhammad started preaching these revelations publicly, proclaiming
that “God is One” and that he was a prophet and messenger of God…
Muhammad gained few followers early on, and met but met hostility with the local
citizens of mecca… So in other to escape persecution, Muhammad migrated to Medina…a nearby city in the Arabian
Peninsula… Muhammad united the tribes under the constitution of Medina most of
the time BY FORCE …
In Mecca the
local tribes were fighting each other…
So Muhammad
gathered an army of 10,000 Muslim converts and MARCHED
ON THE CITY OD MECCA…
He DESTROYED the pagan idols in the city and sent his followers out to destroy all remaining pagan temples in Eastern Arabia... (Christians behaved the same way too and destroyed ancient monuments and culture...)

Muhammad fell ill and died.
But before his
death, most of the Arabian Peninsula
had been converted to Islam…
Thing to be emphasized is that from its
inception Islam has been spread BY FORCE… and the Islamic Jihadists in Syrian and
Iraq are not the a break from the PEACEFUL PRACTICES OF ISLAM, BUT RATHER THE
CONTINUATION OF ITS VIOLENT BIRTH AN SUBSEQUENT EVOLUTION…

the government officials of Yozgat sent police officers to all the surrounding Turkish
villages and in the name of holy jihad invited the Muslim population to participate in this sacred religious obligation ...

manner of performing ablutions, he raised his hands to his face and ran them down his white beard as if washing up. And muttering a few prayers, he turned to and said to me, "May Allah not show such death as this to anybody" ...

Neither the
Big Brothers nor all the apologists of Islam can justify this…
As VIOLENCE
was with Islam from its very inception
and as violence was also through the evolution of Islam through the ages…
till the Ottoman Turks and beyond…
Today’s
Islamic Jihadists are just the mere continuation of the VIOLENT TRADITIONS OF
ISLAM…
Let’s read some of the Islamic scriptures…
The Koran calls for the beheading of Islam's enemies,
especially in the context of war, or jihad:
Read… "When
you encounter infidels on the battlefield, strike off
their heads until you have crushed them completely"
(47:4).
Another verse
states: "I will cast terror into the
hearts of infidels--so strike off their heads and strike off all of their
fingertips [i.e., mutilate them]" (8:12).
And an example from the prophet himself…
A biographer of the Prophet Mohammad, Ibn
Ishaq (d. 768 C.E.) relates…
Muhammad, is
recorded as saying that the Prophet ordered the execution by decapitation of 700 men of the Jewish Banu Qurayza
tribe in Medina for allegedly plotting
against him. Islamic leaders from Muhammad's time until today have followed his model. Examples of decapitation, of
both the living and the dead, in Islamic history
are myriad.... For centuries, leading
Islamic scholars have interpreted this verse [decapitation verse, 47:4] literally... And the Islamic Jihadists of
Syria and Iraq are just following the Prophet and the VIOLENT TRADITIONS OF
ISLAM…They have beheaded people, and their enemies from the very beginnings of
Islam…
As for crucifying people, which the Islamic
State has been doing regularly, Koran 5:33 asserts that "the penalty for
those who wage war against Allah and His
Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption
is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that
they be exiled from the land."
Example:
An eye witness
states that she saw 16 girls crucified, vultures eating
their corpses: "Each girl had been
nailed alive upon her cross, spikes through her feet and hands," wrote the Armenian survivor. "Only their hair blown by the wind covered their bodies."
So crucifying enemies is not only in the Islamic tradition but it is in the scriptures and it was practices before by Islamic jihadists…

culture is a culture of violence and a dream of the Caliphate of the previous

In Islam there
is no separation of religion and state… and the state bases its laws according
to Islamic scriptures…
5:33-“The punishment of those who wage war
against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief
through the land is: execution (by beheading), or
crucifixion, or

off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world,
and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter;”
8:12- “I will instill terror into the hearts of the
unbelievers: smite ye
above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off.”
47:4-
“Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), strike off their heads; at length; then when you have made wide Slaughter among them, carefully
tie up the remaining captives”: thereafter
(is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its
burdens.”
9:123: “Oh ye who believe! Murder those of the disbelievers and let them find
harshness in you.”
2:191- “Kill them
wherever you find them, and
drive them out from wherever they drove you out.”
5: 45- “We ordained therein
for them: “Life for life, eye for eye, nose for nose, ear for ear.
2:193- “Fight them on until there is no more
tumult and religion becomes
that of Allah”
9:29- "Fight
those who do not believe in God and the last day... and fight
People of the Book, (Christian and Jews) who do not accept the religion of
truth
(Islam) until they pay tribute (Zizziya
tax) by hand, being inferior.”
8:17-It
is not ye who Slew them; it is God; when thou threwest a handful of dust, it
was not
Thy act, but God’s…..”
One thing
needs to be emphasized…
Organized
religion, Christian…Muslim … or otherwise, has temporal power…
But, power has
a corrupting influence on anything…
Christians slaughtered
each other during the Reformation and afterwards… Millions were killed in
Europe …and Christians burned women in their thousands for witchcraft…
Christians even sold vouchers for a better sit in heaven… the more you paid the
closer your sit was to God… The famous Indulgences which were certificates
produced in bulk and pre-signed by the Pope…which pardoned a person’s sins and
gave him/her access to heave…
Now it is the
turn of the Muslims…
They will
fight each other…similar to Christians… and eventually they will settle things
very much like the Christians…They will have major groupings and many sects and
denominations…
I do not think
the Islamic Jihadists of Syria and Iraq are an anomaly…They are in the spirit
and tradition of religion, in this case Islam…
Big brothers
and the world leaders should find a means to stop the massacres of the
minorities… No grouping, no religion, has the right to slaughter minorities be
it oil rich Saudi Arabia…or Azerbaijan…or Turkey…or the Islamic Jihadists of
Syria and Iraq…
