Things that WE do...and More...
Educating the youth in ethics and sciences and social manners is the basis of society...
Educating leaders and preparing GOOD roll models is essential in schools...after all, they will be the next generation of leaders in society ...
At present, our culture is based on GREED and PROFIT...
Individual greed and chasing more and more ... profit engender violence... Our society is infatuated with violence... Check the sports fields and arenas...Check the video games and the TV programs... Check the movie theaters...
Greed is the motor force of society...
Chasing profits...flourishes the culture of 1% - Big Brothers running our society, to the detriment of the 99% majority... ALL the rest of us...
It has always puzzled me what people within the 1% do with the extra millions and billions that they chase and accumulate and chase for more...!
Educating the next generation in schools and in sports fields and in arenas...is ALL that we can do... But who will initiate the change...? Who will be daring enough to start an education system based on cooperation and not competition...based on group success rather than individual accolades and honours...?
The education system based on GREED and PROFIT and egocentric achievements have produced what we have now... street people, hungry kids walking to schools, poverty, and drugs and violence and racism and gender bias and sexism... and the sum total of all these...WARS...
May be it is time to change direction...
May be collective success and not individual pursuits and egocentric endeavours will be the answer... But who will instigate the change ...? Who will start the education of NEW roll models and new education paradigms based on inclusion and collective vision and success...
May be collaboration instead of competition will diminish bullying and exploitation too...

Ched Evans...a British bootball (soccer) player...was a success and earned in the millions... He was sentenced to 5 years in prison for raping a 19-year-old in his hotel room...
He served half of the five-year sentence and now is free...
So, let us posit the question... Should he be allowed back to his ROLL MODEL ...leadership roll in society...?
What message we will send to younger kids ... if Ched Evans is given back his boots to play... instead of having our boots to his bottom...?
Last month running
back Ray Rice was released by the Baltimore Ravens and suspended indefinitely
by the NFL after a shocking video surfaced showed the star knocking out his
future wife with a punch in February.
Rice is appealing the suspension... He wants to go back and play a high profile roll model...
Ched Evans...will play football-soccer again...
But I will suggest ALL offenders coming from a high profile role model... background ...must be obliged to go on educational speaking tours in schools against rape and educate the kids AGAINST VIOLENCE against women...

As a footnote and a familiar example
I will mention the sex scandal that President Clinton endured during his presidency...
The Big brother system wants people to forget about incidents like these... But whenever I see him on TV or talking to audiences about anything GOOD... it sounds hollow...
Instead of giving advice... Offenders like these - football players and presidents alike, should be engaged in educating the next generation to respect women and avoid violence against women be it physical or sexual...
The offenders forfeited their rights to be leaders in society... So, after the offence, they MUST be engaged in educating the next generation NOT to follow their example and while talking to the youth ... they have to bring their example ... to educate the kids better...

Meet Shyanne Roberts, a 10-year-old ...
She is 10-year-old... She is promoting guns and she is campaigning against politician who are attempting to restrict guns in society...
She is participating in various events in New Jersey to inspire
people to join her and promote the “right to wear arms”….She argues that
restricting her rights ro bear arms will erode her freedoms... She urges people
that it is not about people's rights to bear arms but rather a "lifestyle
of an American!" She is using social media and twitting to promote people's "rights to wear arms..."
Of course a 10 year old will
not be able to act like this without the backing of her parents...
Parents are essential in
educating the next generation of leaders…and this way of approaching our
education system… makes me apprehensive… thoughtful and anxious…as to what we
are teaching the youth…
I had many a time…parents
yelling at teachers to let their kids alone and not talk about social values to
them… They said... “Your job is to teach math… So buzz off…” or “Your job is to
teach History…So leave my son alone…”
And that is exactly what these
parents are saying to society… We want to bear arms….So leave us alone…
But, read more...
Tristen
Kurilla is 10 years old too… and he has already “killed” an elderly 90 years
old women…
He is
charged and he is in jail and…his parents do not want him back …
One 10
year old is advocating the “right to bear arms”… and another 10 year old is
jailed for killing…
I guess
the education system has failed and the parents have a large portion in this
failure…
Making
kids read anti-bullying novels and books is not ENOUGH…
We have
to revamp our system based on GREED and PROFIT… We have to make education in a
way that we will teach that everyone of us is his-her “brother’s keeper” …
Family of 10-year-old accused of killing 90-year-old woman does not want him back home: The attorney declares...
"I killed that lady,"
the 10-year-old boy told a Pennsylvania state trooper, after a 90-year-old
woman was found dead in the home of the boy's grandfather.
Tristen Kurilla, a fifth
grader, made the chilling confession Saturday, police said, after his mother
brought him to the Pennsylvania State Police Barracks in Honesdale, about 140
miles north of Philadelphia.
Now, Kurilla is being
held at the Wayne County Correctional Facility and charged as an adult with
criminal homicide, the Wayne County district attorney's office said. The boy is
separated from adult offenders and is being constantly supervised...
The boy admitted to
grabbing a wooden cane, holding it against 90-year-old Helen Novak's throat for
several seconds and punching her in the throat and stomach, according to the
police affidavit.
Education
is essential...
Changing the approach to education the next generation is our
duty... and we have to do it properly and correctly...

Wonderful
view and great human achievement…
The
bridge is GREAT… the view ENCHANTING…
And this
weekend the community will celebrate the anniversary of the building of the
bridge…
EXCELLENT
idea…
But the
will celebrate by jumping from the bridge into the gorge…
Where is
the educational value…
Maybe someone
higher up…Maybe a Big Brother would have thought of basing the celebration on
the engineering of the bridge… maybe its economic benefits… May be they would
have initiated a competition of bridge building in schools…in the region… maybe
they would have thought of inspiring the new generation…to be engineers too…
Some 450 BASE jumpers will jump off
New River Gorge Bridge in Fayetteville, West Virginia, on Saturday, October 18,
as part of Bridge Day 2014, marking the 35th year of the annual celebration.
BASE is an acronym that stands for these fixed points: building, antenna, span
and earth.
On Saturday
they're planning to jump off the 876-foot-tall New River Gorge Bridge, one of
the world's longest steel single-span arch bridges, to prove it.
It's the
only day all year that BASE jumpers -- whose acronym stands for these fixed
points: building, antenna, span and earth -- can legally jump off the bridge.
The jumpers carry parachutes designed to deploy quickly, softening their
landings.
Maybe a "community leader" would have come up with promotion of engineers and economist in the community...in the schools...
Think about these and ENJOY the weekend...
Smile... and imagine a better tomorrow...
Be inspired... get involved... and MAKE A DIFFERENCE...
