Silence is golden ONLY sometimes...

Monica Lewinsky in her first public speech at  Under 30 Summit: public humiliation, privacy and cyber-bullying … with humility and humour and grace…talked to the audience…

"My name is Monica Lewinsky. Though I've often been advised to change it…"

The “affair” left her…”shattered” and made her want “to die”…

She said… “I was patient zero”…and was afraid "that  I would be literally humiliated to death."

Her article in Vanity Fair titled “Shame and Survival” should be a must reading for any young female… She said that she has not changed her vies since than…

The affair brought Clinton almost down…he was impeached and … But continued his presidency…and now he is always smiling and acts like nothing happened… That’s how powerful men behave when scandals hit them… They victimize the victim once and once again…and Hillary Clinton called her a “narcissistic loony toon”…

It always is the same…women become victims and then fight among themselves… and the men are set free…

President Clinton rehabilitated himself as if NOTHING HAPPENED...

Hillary Clinton insists that she has not read the article...whenever a reported bugs her with Monica...

And the victim still is struggling to cope with what happened...

Powerful men first victimize women...then deny and victimize the victim again... President Clinton was the older of the two and supposedly the wiser... But he used the POWER of his office and charmed Monica... After the fact...denied... "I did not have sex with that lady...", he insisted... meaning there was no penetration... he dismissed the victim as inconsequential and victimized her again...

No matter how Monica Lewinsky behaved... The President had the power and the POWER of the office made Monica the victim... The President should apologize to Lewinsky and to all female victims...EVERY DAY...

I am glad that Monica Lewinsky is coming out of the nightmare and starting a new life...

And... NOW... The President is victimizing Lewinsky everyday...

In her speech, Monica Lewinsky also discussed the recent theft of celebrity nude-photos… No matter what the female celebrities post on their private space… male hackers have NO RIGHT to steal them and publish them in public to make a buck or two…

This act is GREED and PROFIT without borders and Lewinsky warned ALL that “anyone can be next”… and identity theft en masse proves that she is right…

Victimization of females is yet another shameful custom of our civilization…of our “advanced” Western civilization…

Before he went down the stairs and out of court, Oscar Pistorius slipped off his expensive watch and handed it to a relative.The case exposed the gun culture of South Africa… Also it revealed the cracks in its justice system (favouring the powerful and mighty…maybe remnants from the white racist regime…) and also the inadequacies of its police and prisons which are overcrowded like everywhere…

Above all, it revealed the RISE and FALL of a global hero…

And now that the crowds and the reporters and the cameras will disappear … the only thing that will remain is the waste of so much potential… the waste of lives and careers of a global icon and …his fiancée … victim…

A woman escaped to the bathroom…the male stumped after her…and then ONLY one of them came out alive… It was a simple case… But the media strives on the juicy gossips…and the trial was dragged forever… and the courtroom was transformed into a zoo and the affair into a torturous and exploitative epic… on Shakespearean proportions…

 I am sure we still will hear how the male will exploit the situation… May be in a movie of “his” story… and how he will victimize the victim again…

The Evolution of ... The Church...

Make no mistake, the Catholic Church is indeed changing. An official Vatican report acknowledged “positive aspects” of nonmarital unions and declared that gays have “gifts and qualities” to offer Catholicism. Some are citing the “Francis Effect” for this reversal of centuries-old dogma after the pontiff advocated a more moderate approach to homosexuality. This “pastoral earthquake” isn’t official policy, but bishops will now discuss the report and make recommendations to Pope Francis — who has the last SAY...

Incredulous as it may sound, I wanted to believe to the news of the "earthquake"... But I guess I, and others like me, were to anxious to see the changes...

The SYNOD rejected the ideas put forward...

I guess the Big Brother CHURCH plays politics too...

How come the majority, albeit not a two third, interprets the scripture in a different way and a vocal, powerful minority construes the scripture in a different way...?

Do they play politics with the Bible and scriptures too...!? 

Catholic gay rights groups say they are disappointed...after the bishops rejected the proposals for wider acceptance of gay people...proposals which had Pope's backing... 

The vote shows the Pope faces serious internal opposition and exposes yet another time...that politics is involved in the interpretation of the scriptures and the reading of the Bible...
I guess this was exactly the case when the Synod was adamantly against the mass circulation of the Bible... The Bis Brother Bishops did not want the people to read and interpreter the Bible...differently than... them the powerful and the anointed ... and the appointed...

Pope Francis' proposals were rebuffed, but still gained more than 50% of the votes but it will await another day to be Church policy...
How come the Bible is subject to POLITICAL debate...is beyond my comprehension...
May be the ISIS - the Islamic Jihadists will know...
