Organized Religion is at the Root of all Evil...

The Middle East gave us the three major organized religions... They say the Middle East is the cradle of civilization... I would qualify this generalization by inserting the qualifier... It is the cradle of Western civilization... India and China-Japan are the cradle of OTHER civilizations...
For the past couple of decades, ever since the globalization of terrorism... There is much talk about "the clash of civilizations..." Again I will qualify this assertion and insist on the "clash of religions..." 
They have "Radical Islamic terrorism..." and the West, specially the US has Radical Christian Terrorism... and instead of a clash of civilizations... we have a clash of Organized Religions... 
 The Middle East is in turmoil... The Middle East will stay in turmoil... as long as there are the three major Organized Religions... Islam, Christianity and Judaism...
The invasion of the Crusaders never came to an end... It still continues... it still is alive and well and still clashing with Islam and still pretending that they want to liberate the Holy Lands...
But,
The 1% of the Western (Judeo-Christian) alliances... is clashing with the 1% of the emerging Islamic states (Turkey-Saudi Arabia... and the rest...)
And,
The world population is caught up in the middle...
The organized religions are covering up the greed of the 1%... They always have done that... and as long as organized religion is alive and opulently well... they will ally with the laity (the 1%) and the Middle East will stay a powder keg thay may explode the globalized hypocrisy and  globalized greed...

The arrest was carried out on an Interpol "red notice" - a request to arrest a wanted individual for extradition. The request is made by national police forces, and it does not indicate the person is wanted by Interpol itself. The 60-year-old has written about the killing in 2007 of Turkish-Armenian journalist Hrant Dink, and the 1915 killing of Armenians by Ottoman Turks - which was labelled as genocide by the German parliament last year. Large numbers of journalists have been jailed in Turkey since a failed coup (which some Swedish journalists reported that Erdogan initiated it in order to gather more power and silence critics...)   last year, and news outlets critical of the government have been shut down or taken over. Tens of thousands of people, including academics and government officials, have also faced arrest.

The Middle east conflict will not be solved... and NO U.S. administration will have any power to solve it... as long as the three major organized religions -Islam, Christianity, Judaism- are alive and kicking...
We are witnessing NOT the "clash of civilizations..." but the dragging of the Crusaders attempting to liberate the Holy Lands...

• The Caste System... Hinduism: The Caste System--(groups assigned by birth not personality)... The Hindu conception of the social order is that people are different, and different people will fit well into different aspects of society. It is indeed a class structure that is determined by birth.                                              Loosely, it means that in some societies, if your parents are poor, you're going to be poor, too. Same goes for being rich, if you're a glass-half-full person...
• There are too many illiterate in India...  India has by far the largest population of illiterate adults... numbering 287 million... and amounting to 37 per cent of the global adult illiteracy... The United Nations report highlighted the huge disparities existing in education levels of India's rich and poor...
• The socioeconomic situation is miserable in India... One of my economic professors  in one of his lectures prophesied, "an underdeveloped country will have an underdeveloped democracy..."    

New Delhi (CNN) India's latest Socioeconomic and Caste Census paints a stark picture of widespread rural poverty and deprivation, Of the 300 million households surveyed, an overwhelming majority (73%) live in villages. Of this rural population, less than 5% earn enough to pay taxes, only 2.5% own a 4-wheeler vehicle and less than 10% have salaried jobs. Not only does rural India have miserable statistics on income and asset ownership, its literacy rates are low. Only 3.5% of students graduate and around 35.7% of residents can't read or write. It comes as no surprise that the bulk of the Indian population is still overwhelmingly poor. Past surveys and experts have continued to emphasize the chasm between the two disparate pictures of India -- one that owns ambitious space and nuclear programs, and boasts of billionaires and information technology prowess, and the one in the villages, of which 92 million households (51%) earn their living by manual labor.

A society that has a poorer class... cannot function as a proper

democracy as the people will be bribed very easily... 

A society which has a large illiterate base... cannot function in 

democratic norms... as the population will be easily lulled by 

the rhetoric of demagogues and false promises of politicians...

In a society, where caste like racist norms prevail... in which 

symbols of discrimination and repression prevail... in which 

colour of ones skin determines acceptability... determines rules 

of social mobility... cannot be democratic... after all, democracy

appreciates equality, fraternity and the pursuit of happiness 

for ALL...

A society which gyrates to sexist norms... where women are 

paid less and appreciated less... and abused more... cannot be 

considered democratic... Check the sorry statistics below...

There are currently 27 sitting judges, against a maximum possible strength of 31. There is only one lady sitting judge. As per the Constitution of India, Supreme Court judges retire at age 65.

North Korea warned Sunday that the upcoming US-South  Korea military exercises are "reckless behavior driving the  situation into the uncontrollable phase of a nuclear war."

Imagine if you could not think... not think at all... Imagine if instead of the brain we had another sex organ to fuck more... or just another stomach to eat more... 

Imagine... if humans were just fucking, eating and fighting all the time... Imagine if we were only governed by our sense organs... and imagine humans without brains...

Just imagine... bunkers for the 1%... for the rich... in case things go wrong... in case leaders abandon the domain of verbal abuse and threats and transgress the "red lines" of war and murder...

It does not matter if one is a professional cheater... embezzler... It does not matter if someone is a skillful tax evader... a person who declares bankruptcy to cheat both the state and the people.
Indeed it does not matter if someone abandons human norms and mores... grabs pussies at whim... abuses people-women- just for the fun of it... All these do not matter as long as one is rich and has a billion or two... or three...

• “Fire and fury”…and “locked and loaded...” Indeed some think like Don Quixote that masculinity is gauged by the length of the spear... forgetting the target... dismissing the casualties... After all rich-macho men can dangle ALL they have... and boast about whatever they DON'T HAVE... 
• "Game plan..."  WAR IS NEVER A GAME... Maybe they will change their terminology when their sons and daughters are not evading to fight for their country...
• "If they shoot at the United States, I'm assuming they've hit the United States. ... If they do that, then it's game on." This is a general... GAMING ON...

WAR HAS NEVER BEEN A GAME... WAR NEVER IS A GAME... Let the 1% defend their riches... and leave the people alone... 

Just say no to war... Just resist the stupidity... 

After all,

War is a brutal way of abuse... is the globalization of "break and enter..." is "armed robbery..." is premeditated murder... of the first degree..."

Attacking Baghdad was easy... after all, Saddam did not have any "weapons of mass destruction..."
Invading Afghanistan was simple and straightforward... after all, the Talaban was just a guerrilla army... 
But as Vietnam demonstrated... even guerrilla armies can inflict many casualties... and eventually mighty armies succumb to defeat... Afghanistan has dragged to become the longest US war... 
Syria was supposed to be easy... but it has dragged forever with inhuman brutality and thousands of casualties...
The Western Liberal Democracies... and the U.S. have hatched the concept of regime change for "better and for democracy..."
They attempted it in Egypt... and they did not succeed... The military was in the leadership and eventually the military returned to power... Mubarak was from the army and Abdel Fattah el-Sisi is from the army too...
They attempted in Iraq... and the country was divided into three ethnic-religious sections... The invasion of Iraq eventually begat the illegitimate offspring of Arab Spring... terrorism and ISIS-Islamic Jihadists...
They attempted regime change in Libya... and mow the county is a stronghold of various warlords and human traffickers...
Regime change is easier said than achieved... after all teaching democracy to people who have only crumbs to survive on is impossible...
WE CANNOT TEACH DEMOCRACY... in order to sustain a democracy the citizen must be both educated and economically satisfied... If they are not educated, people will be easily deceived by "fake news..." and if they are not economically satisfied, it will be very easy to bribe them...
No one can teach democracy to North Korea... No body should teach democracy to North Korea... After all the democratic norms in the West (Europe and North America...) are as fragile as the icebergs of Antarctica, and are at the mercy of Russian hackers... 
"Fake news..." is the new normal... and anyone with a laptop will be able to generate news... fake or otherwise...

It is the anniversary of the Nagasaki bombing ... people must defend their right for liberty and fraternity and pursuit of happiness... NO DEMAGOGUE FROM THE EAST OR THE WEST should be allowed to endanger or existence... 
PEOPLE SHOULD STAND UP, against these leaders, AND BE COUNTED...
War is not an option... War is just the failure of diplomacy, that is, humanity...

Yet another initiative worth mentioning is the legal action that the Republic of the Marshall Islands has taken against the nine nuclear-armed states in the International Court of Justice for failing to comply with their nuclear disarmament obligations. This brave action by a country that continues to suffer from the effects of nuclear testing has served to underline the legal obligation for nuclear disarmament.

These nine nuclear armed states... have condemned North Korea for its pursuit of nuclear weapons, but they are armed to their teeth... and threatening each other and the world...

The United Nations Security Council on Saturday passed a resolution imposing new sanctions on North Korea for its continued intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) testing and violations of UN resolutions. With 15 votes in favor, Resolution 2371 was passed unanimously.

North Korea and Iran or any other state… should not pursue the damaging and stupid ambition of acquiring nuclear weapons… But then, all the nine states that already have it MUST DISARM TOO… Destroying the already existing nuclear weapons will be much more persuasive to North Korea and others…

Every day in my morning walks I pass by a billboard advertising work-boots...


... and I wonder...why a semi-naked women has work-boots on...
Why a macho man is not advertising the work-boots... and why the woman is wearing shorts and exposes cleavage...
Every day it disturbs me... and generates thoughts that bother me...
Objectifying people to sell a product is just capitalist-correct... The greed and chasing profit at any cost has introduced a very indecent and immoral trait in our social norms and beliefs... Even religion has been contaminated by the greed and profit chasing of the 1%...
Why this will be an ad that our social norms and our cultural mores will tolerate...?
Just because an immoral person wants to sell the product and make profit out of it... 


Should not society bring these people to justice... for degrading women and for objectifying people... ?
These ads distort and muddle the serenity of my morning walks... and I wish there will be a change... but change is slow to come... so many mornings I change my path in order to avoid that boots ad... But then I encounter another stupid one...

Why this sandwich will conjure phallic stupidity... after all if the sandwich is good and healthy and tasty... it does not need sexist imagery to sell... !

One of my relatives had a two year old daughter when their second child, a son, was born... They were happy and we were happy for them...
The son grew up and because his sister were playing will dolls, Barbies and the rest of the bunch, he also began to play with dolls... Parents and grandparents were taken back and upset that the MALE sibling was imitating his elder sister and playing with dolls... and they tried to avoid it... at times forcefully pulling the dolls away from the kid... The son cried... But the parents were quite determined... and the grandparents were fearful that their grandson will grow up to be gay...
Witnessing the distress of the parents-grandparents was amusing to be... I did not interfere, but in my mind I always repeated ... LET THE KID BE... Let him play with dolls... What's the harm...!!!!!
But these scenes continued... and I did my best to avoid that family... despite the fact that it is very hard to avoid relatives, specially at holidays...

The above scenes cam to mind when I read about a new ad in the BBC... I always scan the BBC for the news...

Why the "little girl" will grow up to be a ballerina and why the "little boy" will be a mathematician...?

An Audi commercial equating women to used cars has riled up consumers in China...

The Chinese commercial opens with a young couple on the cusp of getting married, when the groom's mother suddenly interrupts the ceremony to inspect the bride.

After yanking the bride's nose and ears, and prying open her jaw to inspect her teeth, the mom appears satisfied and gives the couple the okay. She casts one last disapproving look at the bride's chest before the scene changes to an Audi driving through city streets as a voice-over says "an important decision must be made carefully."

Indeed, important decisions have to be made carefully... and wisely... 

Objectifying women is neither wise and nor a careful/good decision...

When people think only below their belt... we should not even trust those people...

After all, penises are not licenses for stupidity...
