Nobel Peace Prize awarded to anti-nuclear weapons campaigners

This is good news... But banning ALL weapons should be the 

target and the policy of any credible organization...

Also,

We should destroy the existing stockpiles of all weapons... 

nuclear and otherwise... the so called conventional ones...

All the devastation that's occurring at present are the result of 

conventional weapons... and it is the old jungle rule... where the  
powerful dictate their will (hegemony) on others... Be it the U.S.   
or the U.K. or Russia and or China... Their greed is like the 

renewable... inexhaustible energy which instigates and also 

perpetuates all the world disputes...  

The 2017 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded Friday to the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons. The Norwegian Nobel Committee said ICAN was receiving the award for its "work to draw attention to the catastrophic humanitarian consequences of any use of nuclear weapons and for its ground-breaking efforts to achieve a treaty-based prohibition of such weapons." Nobel committee president Berit Reiss-Andersen praised the work of ICAN at a time when tensions remain high over North Korea's nuclear weapons testing and as the Iran Nuclear Deal has been called into question by US President Donald Trump...

a coalition group supported by hundreds of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in over 100 countries across the world formed in 2007, inspired by a similar campaign to ban the use of landmines worldwide supporters include actor Michael Sheen, artist Ai Weiwei and former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon

The US is on the verge of abandoning the leadership and the hegemony of the "Western Democracies..." and China is rising into hegemonic leadership by the day... 
While the US and North Korea are tossing insults and an immature bullying game... China is taking the leadership of the world economic future... China is investing in renewable energy and building of solar panels... soon China will be the top manufacturer of solar panels... also China is starting to invest in electric cars... 
The US has the potential, but China has the will to manufacture and lead... And history has demonstrated that whoever has the economic hegemony will have the political leadership too...
It is unfortunate that the US is abdicating its moral high ground... There was yet another demonstration in Charlottesville... 

       Officials in Virginia denounced white supremacist Richard Spencer and dozens            of his racist supporters who held another rally holding tiki torches in                              Charlottesville on Saturday night... Yesterday...

The white supremacist racist fascists... in Charlottesville yesterday... These people have lost all human dignity and also have lost the future too... They accuse the immigrants for everything and anything which is wrong with them... But they are unemployed because they are lazy and the immigrants are hard working... They are at the bottom of the economic-social ladder because they are not educated and refuse to be educated while the immigrants attend college and university... The immigrants are hard working and better educated... and the white racist want everything as an entitlement emanating from their white-racist-slave owner- natives slaughtering past...

I guess someone has to pee on their pie... and their racist fascist entitlement...

In the US if you work hard you may have a chance... Not when you hold a torch lit racist march... The white racists should get over it... After all the future belongs to those who work well... and that's the immigrants... not the lazy and uneducated white thugs...

Indeed it is unfortunate that the US leadership is threatening the world with another nuclear holocaust... Bullying will bring forth more resentment... North Korea has tested recently yet another missile and yesterday they tested yet another nuclear bomb... 

The US is threatening force... and in this case force means nuclear war... Is the world ready for it... This is exactly why the Nobel Committee should not play politics with the PEACE prize... It may blow in their face... as it did with the Rohingya massacres in Myanmar... The Nobel Peace Prize laureate... Aung San Suu Kyi has neglected all the pleas for peace... and has not halted the massacres of Innocent people...
Giving the Peace prize to anti-nuclear groups is a farce when the nine nuclear powers, specially Russia and the US have not even noticed the group... ICAN is a voice in the wilderness... an inconsequential cry and the Nobel Peace Committee knows that full well...
The greed of the nuclear powers cannot be harnessed by appeasement! ICAN should ask for a weapons free world... Not only to get rid of the nuclear threat but also free the world for the "conventional" arms and "conventional" wars...
