ORGANIZED RELIGION HAS BEEN... AND IS VIOLENT...

Vatican... Christians... and War...

I am always confused when I read that Christians support the death penalty... Even some courts and judges in the U.S. have supported the death penalty because they wanted to upheld Christian values.

I am always confused when "right to life"ers... those who support the rights of the fetus and oppose abortion... go ahead and support the death penalty...

Illogical thoughts... actions... create contradictions... and contradictions always confuse me...

Now the Vatican supports force to defend the Christians of the Middle East... Well, a noble thought... but indeed full of contradiction...

The Vatican says force may be necessary to stop attacks on Christians and other Middle East minorities by Islamic State (IS) if no political solution is found. Archbishop Silvano Tomasi, the Vatican's top diplomat at the UN in Geneva, said jihadists were committing "genocide" and must be stopped. The Vatican traditionally opposes military intervention in the region. However, Pope Francis decried the beheading in February of 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians by IS in Libya. The militants have targeted minority religious groups in the parts of Syria and Iraq under their control. Thousands more people have been forced to flee their homes. I always insist that Christian teaching and philosophical outlook is a revolutionary departure from Judaism and Middle Eastern culture... In fact, Islam is more of a continuity of Judaism... Love your enemy and turn the other cheek CANNON and ARE NOT the natural evolutionary process that metamorphosed into existence from Judaism...

Love thy enemy is not the continuation of ...an eye for an eye...

The concept of "an eye for an eye..." and "turn the other cheek..." have nothing in common and one is not the evolutionary progress from the other...

Also,

In the "Old Testament"... Judaic thought... God is jealous and very restrictive... and even it is mentioned that the punishment will be carried out for generations to come...

In the "New testament"... Christian thought... God is loving... and accommodating and forgiving...

The "Old" and the "New" are Non Sequitur... 

...and as such,

The Vatican should be above the warring and squabbling of the Big Brothers... 

But unfortunately, the Vatican has been part of the Big Brother's GREED for centuries now...

The conflicts in the world are engineered through religion... The most murderous and horrific crimes are committed because of religion... both in the "civilized world" and in the "Not-so-civilized world"...

When will it change...?

It is up to "WE THE PEOPLE"....

A Televangelist... A Mega Church Minister, Creflo Dollar... asks for $60 million in hand outs and donations for a new jet...

 The Gulfstream G650 can fly eight passengers and four crew members some 8,000 statue miles at a cruising speed of Mach 0.85, according to specs posted on gulfstream.com.

Creflo Dollar, the minister of the church, known for being a prosperity preacher at his Atlanta-area World Changers Church International, is seeking "200,000 people committed to sow $300 or more (to) help achieve our goal to purchase the G650 airplane."

I wondered in bewilderment ... What he will do with the plane...? 

Then I sobered up...

If the Vatican has accumulated all those riches through the ages... then at least these new comers... the Evangelical televangelists... can have modern day riches and fly in the air...

Religion maybe good... it may even be wonderful...

But organized religion is dangerous... organized religion is a disaster... History supports me... 

A United Airlines flight made a U-turn in the sky after a passenger ran toward the cockpit screaming "jihad, jihad..."

Jihad is Holy War... And Holy War is the battle cry of ORGANIZED RELIGION...

And the islamist-Jihadists and the televangelists with their GREED and the "pro-lifers" with their support of the death penalty... Prove my case...
