What can I say... but what the ...

Morality and moral norms are invented by society to uphold the social norms and mores... and thus to protect the status quo... So, Morality, which is preached by the church and state- the Big brother, is yet another control system maintaining male dominance simultaneously  providing some level of security for a wife. ...and the swear words in the morality spectrum... These words serve various distinct functions... Steven Arthur Pinker (born September 18, 1954) is a Canadian-born U.S. experimental psychologist, cognitive scientist, linguist, and popular science author. He is a professor at Harvard University. In his The Stuff of Thought, he lists five different ways that we can swear: descriptively, idiomatically, abusively, emphatically and cathartically... And the example... FUCK... He writes... “descriptively (Let’s fuck), idiomatically (It’s fucked up), abusively (Fuck you…!), emphatically (This is fucking amazing), and cathartically (Fuck!!!).” Functional equivalents to the F-word are found in many languages and in different cultures... and in all cases it is quite evidently linked to male aggression. Females are cast in a submissive role. But men are also attached to their nurturing mothers and love their sisters... It always amused me to contemplate the two extremes of the actual sex act... 1. We make love... with people we love... But,  2. We fuck ... people that we don't like... But essentially the actual act is the same... and it boils down to male action and male aggression... It amused me... and to think of it... it is funny too...

This is a "what the fuck..." moment...
It is very cold in Eastern North America... in New York... But the homeless are still on the streets...

They are bundled up... But they are very cold...

They pray for food... and shelter... and for human touch...

Check the stats... New York's homeless population at all-time high of 60,000...

It has been one of the coldest winters on record in North America's north-east, and in New York City freezing temperatures have coincided with record numbers of homeless...

It is depressing...and indeed one of the "what the fuck..."

moments...

We go all over the world and wage wars... But we forget

Again the protesters are on the streets... This time in Wisconsin...

Again a police shooting... A white policeman shoots and unarmed Afro-American teen... and kills the guy...

You tell me... Is it a what the fuck moment... or what...!!!!!

Protesters in Wisconsin took to the streets for a third day over the shooting of an unarmed black teenager by a white police officer.

                                 The unarmed teenager... and the officer... "to serve and protect..."

Nineteen-year-old Tony Robinson Jr was shot on Friday evening in an apartment. He was unarmed, but police say he attacked the officer who shot him.

People marched to the state's Capitol in Madison on Sunday, beating drums and holding placards.

Fuck it...
We travel around the world and preach "democracy" and civility... While we carry guns and kill at random... What the fuck...!

...And you think there is no end to racism... and here pops up a university fraternity... these are supposed to be educated people... or at least people in pursuit of knowledge and education and humanity... and here pops us a "what the fuck..." moment...

Indeed disheartening... Indeed, what can I say, but just..."what the fuck...!!!!"

Anthony Hines....

There are days when even Anthony Hines asks himself, "How?" How does a high school sophomore, a 4-star 2017 linebacker, a player who recently turned 16 years old, have more offers than two or three 5-star athletes combined? And then he's reminded of everything he's done to get those offers. All the hard work in the weight room. All the production in game situations. All the road trips to multiple universities. It's only then when that "how" question—how a player who, three months ago, wasn't legally old enough to drive a car by himself but now fields 65 offers—makes sense. Yes, 65. "To be honest, I was just blessed to have one [offer]," Hines said. "Every single time another comes in, I accept it. I look it as motivation to get better and better."

Indeed what the fuck... The higher education system is offering invitation to a football player... Yes, 65 offers... because he plays football... Not because he has excelled in academia... Yes... amazing... and yes, what the fuck...
We indeed are confused in our priorities... and the footballer is welcomed to academia... because he just can kick...

We have record number of homeless... and this winter was very... very cold...

We shoot to kill... almost at will... We shoot to kill unarmed teens...not once, not twice... but "what the fuck..." time... by now...

We perpetuate racism... in our homes and at the workplace and in universities...

We invite footballers to higher education... just because they kick...

And then,

We roam around the world and bomb the shit out of people... and take the moral high ground... and preach "democratic" values... and civility and humanity... 

We just talk... and neglect our backyard...
