I hope...Therefore I Exist....
The news from West Africa is
very grim...
The Ebola outbreak is overwhelming the social fabric and devastating
the fragile economies of West Africa…Sierra Leone, Ghana and Liberia…
Yesterday the world came
together and the U.S. took some tentative steps to confront the situation.
One thing is for sure... The
world has become more and more a Global Village, indeed…and whatever is
happening in West Africa cannot be isolated from the rest of the world… As the
ISIS-Islamist Jihadist crisis in the Middle East… as the Ukrainian conundrum in
Europe… the Ebola outbreak in West Africa is having its effects all the world over…
Ebola patients Screaming for help...
One World and Collective response...We are indeed citizens of the
Global Village...
Of course North America is far
away…But it is not untouchable… As the Islamist-Jihadists threaten us, as the
Ukrainian civil war is effecting us… Ebola in West Africa will effect and
eventually touch us…if we do not act as ONE Global Village and ONE world
community…
The Ebola outbreak could have a catastrophic impact on the economies of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, the World Bank says.
The organisation says the economic impact of the virus could "grow eight-fold" in the "already fragile states".
However, it says the cost can be limited if the epidemic - and the accompanying fear - is contained by a fast global response.
Ebola has killed 2,461 people in West Africa - the largest ever outbreak.
Yesterday Obama took the
initiative…Yesterday was a good start in the fight against Ebola…
The U.S. will deploy 3000
soldiers and the U.S. army will help in the fight against Ebola…
While the U.S. troops did not
do any good in Iraq and Afghanistan… while the U.S. troops went in and came out
after devastating the region… I am sure the U.S. troops will do good in West
Africa…
Dr. Kent Brantly, working on behalf of the U.S.-based missionary group Samaritan's Purse, was treating patients in Monrovia, Liberia, when he became infected with the Ebola virus in July. Brantly was evacuated to Emory University Hospital, where he was treated and eventually recovered.
US President Barack
Obama has called the latest outbreak "a threat to global security",
and announced a larger US role in fighting the virus.
As I have insisted … War begets
war…and wars can never usher in peace…But troops can form that humanitarian bridge
that will assist the world effort against Ebola…
May be the armies can be useful
in humanitarian endeavours… and NOT in wars…
The Middle East wars have
destabilized the entire region…
Imagine:
·
Saudi Arabia… a despotic monarchy…
·
The Gulf Emirates, Dubai, Kuwait and all the rest..…where the
emirs… rule…
·
Turkey…where human rights are non-existent and minorities do not
have any rights…
The U.S. and the West…aligned
with these regimes initiated the so called “Arab Spring”…. which devastated Egypt,
Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, and Syria…The entire region is in turmoil…because of
the “Arab Spring” and the result is pure and simple…the Islamist-Jihadists…armed
by the U.S. and Saudi Arabia and Turkey and the Emirates…
The wars destabilized the
region…and the U.S. lead alliance did not do any good…
Also, you cannot fight ideas by
wars and troops… History is our witness and the Vietnam is a good example where
ideas triumphed against the sword…
The U.S. initiated the Iraqi
wars and destabilized Iraq… The U.S. initiated the war in Afghanistan… and nothing
good came out of it…
How can despotic Saudi Arabia
initiate a democratic revolution in another country is beyond my understanding…!
How can Turkey who violates all
human rights rules and suppresses minorities initiate a democratic revolution…
There is no democracy in Saudi Arabia
and Turkey…how can they democratize the entire region…
The U.S. and the West have deluded
themselves for too long…and have destabilized the entire region and now the
world has to deal with the result of these adventures…The Islamist-Jihadists…The
ISIS…The ISIL… “The Islamic Caliphate…”
The result of the "Arab Springs..."
Turkey is not democratic... and Saudi Arabia is a despotic monarch... and they cannot usher in and kind of GOOD... The Islamist-Jihadists are the direct result of the intervention of the U.S. and the West alongside Turkey and Saudi Arabia...
ISIS crucifies Christians...
But I have still hoped…hope for
a better tomorrow… After all,
1. The Big Brother will not be
able to contaminate the youth forever… Eventually the youth will say enough is
enough…
I have fate in the youth…
2. There are still sane people
in the Big Brother circles… Proof…? Yesterday the world came together and
initiated a global response to the Ebola devastation of West Africa…
3. The U.S. committed 3000
troops to help the fight against Ebola…
A glimmer of hope... Global response to Ebola in West Africa...
I still believe in the humanity of human beings...
Despite the GREED of the Big
brothers… despite the selfishness of the Big Brothers… Despite the lust for
profit of the Big Brothers… I still believe the goodness of the human beings… I
still believe in the youth… I still believe in the humanity of the human beings…
I am sure there will be a
better tomorrow… eventually…
The united fight against Ebola…
encourages me…that humanity will defeat the GREED and lust for profit of the
Big brothers and we will live in a Global Village of harmony and PEACE…
