Today the Armenian Church canonized 1.5 million Christian Armenian victims to the Armenian Genocide 100 years ago...
The Islamist-fascists of Turkey murdered innocent men, women and children... those who survived were deported out of the country or islamized...
Women were raped... the skulls of intellectuals smashed open... wombs were torn apart... and young girls raped ... entire village population crammed into churches and burned...
Today I woke up to the memories and to the ringing of the bells... Indeed, For Whom the Bell tolls...!

The canonization liturgy was spiritually uplifting... and the chants directly from the hearts of the 1.5 million victims... of the FIRST GENOCIDE OF THE 20th CENTURY... Planned and executed by the Islamist-fascists of Turkey...

The bishops of the Armenian Church... chanting psalms and purifying the souls with incense... 

The new icons of the saints being washed and purified by holy oils...

The new icons of the Church blessed and purified by perfume oils amid the rising curls of incense... Centuries old traditions were revived... and vanquished the genocidal policies of the Islamist-fascists of Turkey...

With the help of sister churches and their representatives... The Armenian nation and Christian minorities of the Middle East were resurrected today... amid the chants of thousands joined by the souls of the 1.5 million martyrs...

German President Joachim Gauck has described as "genocide" the killings of Armenians by Ottoman Islamist-fascist Turks... a move likely to cause outrage in Turkey.

But truth prevails and the hypocrisy of the Big Brothers eventually gives in...

The President of Germany embraced the truth and this centennial year... did not succumb to the threats of the Islamist-fascists and did not cover up the facts... Tomorrow the German government and parliament will also endorse the truth and declare the horrors perpetrated by the Islamist-fascists of Turkey as the FIRST GENOCIDE of the 20th CENTURY...

But it is not the same in other parts of "Western Democracy..." 

The Turkish government still muzzles some of the leading democracies...

The Turkish fascists still silence the truth in some parts of the world...

AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT OBAMA ON THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

Dear Mr. President,

I have just one question: "Who, after all, speaks today of the annihilation of the Armenians?"

You may recognize this quote. It is frequently cited by historians.

This is what Adolph Hitler said in defense of his plans to wipe out the Jews. Hitler was referring to the Armenian Genocide.

As you well know, the Ottoman Turks kicked off their plans to wipe out the Armenians on April 24, 1915 by rounding up intellectuals and hanging them. Soon after, the mass killings began. The men were murdered and the women were raped before being forced to march through
the desert with their children until they died of starvation and exposure. This was a systematic, well-organized effort with just one goal: to annihilate the Armenians. And it was largely successful – 1.5 million Armenians were exterminated.

This is the truth. No credible historian disagrees. Neither do you.

You said yourself during your 2008 presidential campaign:

Two years ago, I criticized the secretary of state for the firing of US Ambassador to Armenia John Evans, after he properly used the term 'genocide' to describe Turkey's slaughter of thousands of Armenians starting in 1915. I shared with secretary [Condoleezza] Rice my firmly
held conviction that the Armenian Genocide is not an allegation, a personal opinion, or a point of view, but rather a widely documented fact supported by an overwhelming body of historical evidence. The facts are undeniable. An official policy that calls on diplomats to
distort the historical facts is an untenable policy. As a senator, I strongly support passage of the Armenian Genocide Resolution (H.Res.106 and S.Res.106), and as president I will recognize the Armenian Genocide.

These words gave Armenians all over the world hope. You have been president for more than six years. Yet, since your election, you never again spoke of the Armenian Genocide. What are you waiting for? Where is the recognition? Was your intention simply to garner votes? If so,
it worked. American citizens of Armenian descent contributed generously to your campaign, and they voted for you overwhelmingly.

They have been let down.

You appointed Samantha Power as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations.

That gave Armenians even more hope. Ms. Power is the author of a Pulitzer Prize-winning book largely focused on the Armenian Genocide.

Yet as soon as she settled into her seat at the Security Council, she, too, lost her voice on the topic of the Armenian Genocide. Has your administration lost its moral compass? Don't fall for Hitler's line.



"Who, after all, speaks today of the annihilation of the Armenians?"

The Pope speaks of the annihilation of the Armenians. Recently, Pope Francis commemorated the centenary of the Armenian Genocide during a Mass in Rome. He knew in advance that it would upset Turkey. Yet he did not shy away from speaking the truth, and neither should you.

The Pope is not alone. The list of nations that formally recognize the Armenian Genocide is growing. It includes Canada, France, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, and 20 others. Many of these countries are intimately familiar with the facts because they welcomed survivors
of the Genocide and gave them refuge.

At the time, the United States also welcomed Armenian refugees. In fact, Henry Morgenthau, U.S. Ambassador to the Ottoman Empire, was among the first to extensively document the Turkish officials' plans to annihilate the Armenians.

The facts do not lie. Mr. President, you have very little time left in office. Very little time left to live up to your promises. Please don't let the Armenians down. It is time to call the Genocide by its name. It is time for you to speak. "[S]peak today of the annihilation of the Armenians."

But the reports say otherwise...

The Turkish Islamist-fascist regime won’t cast aspersions on their founding fathers. Turkey still refuses, 100 years later, to use the g-word to refer to the slaughter of 1.5 million Armenians following the breakup of the Ottoman Empire.  Activists had hoped President Obama would use the term during centennial commemorations this Friday, giving a powerful nudge toward global acknowledgment of the historical carnage. But the president — who called it “genocide” while campaigning in 2008 — will temper his language again this year to appease a deceptive and unreliable ally in an unstable region... After all, the Saudi kings, the Pakistani fundamentalist and reactionary islamists and the Turkish Islamist-fascists are NOT THE ALLIES OF WESTERN DEMOCRACIES...

And...

• As long as Big Brothers deny the Armenian Genocide... the massacres of minorities and Christians will continue in the Middle East... with the help of the Turkish Islamist-fascists...
• As long as Big Brothers deny the truth just to appease the Turkish fascists... other genocides will occur... 
• Because of the GREED and PROFIT of the Big Brothers... and because of denying the truth about the Armenian Genocide... others followed...

HOLODOMOR :  The famine-genocide of Ukraine, 1932-1933 In the spring of 1933, the rural population of Ukraine was dying at a rate of 25,000 a day, half of them children. The land that was known worldwide as the breadbasket of Europe was being ravaged by a man-made famine of unprecedented scale. It was engineered by Stalin and his hangmen to teach Ukraine’s independent farmers  “a lesson they would not forget” for resisting collectivization, which meant giving up their land and livestock to the state. (Ukraine was then under Soviet domination).  Moreover, it was meant to deal “a crushing blow” to any national aspirations of the Ukrainian people, 80 percent of whom were peasant farmers. While millions of men, women and children in Ukraine and in the mostly ethnically Ukrainian areas of the northern Caucasus were dying, the Soviet Union was denying the famine and exporting enough grain from Ukraine to have fed the entire population.
