THE WORLD IS ON FIRE... AND WHERE ARE YOU... ?

The World is On Fire... and it is YOUR call to extinguish the fire and save the world...

Be a super-human and get engaged and make a difference...

The world on Fire...

In the previous post my friend/university student sent a note which I published as it is...
He sent a follow up yesterday...January 15, which follows...
I indeed like the post.
Your arguments were very close to what my friends were saying. The biggest thing they told me is "who decides what's offensive" and that's basically where our argument ended because that is an impossible question to answer. We mainly focus on religion. But Charlie Hebdo uses free speech to make fun of everyone not only religions. The cartoons offend more than just religions... but I guess there's really no point of bringing those up because again, what is offensive? I understand that violence was not the answer and is not the answer to someone making fun of you or your beliefs or interests but the biggest question I have is, "Why start hate where hate is not needed" Even if Hebdo thought what they are doing is not offensive, they surely realized that to someone else it might be, right? You, yourself have been promoting peace and harmony across our society, how is Hebdo doing the same? Why you free speech for hate and not peace?

If my memory isn't too bad, I believe that your birthday is today. So happy birthday, You are many years young and I hope all your plans are succeeding. All the best to you and your family, I wish you the best health and everything else you may need or want.

SMILE
...Again, thank you for the follow up note...
Free speech should be protected always... We cannot delegate our freedoms to Big Brothers... I personally am suspecious of Big brother motives and acts... (Check the last item of this blog post...)

...And yes... Yesterday was my Birth Day... I took a long walk... and thought about all these in today's post...
I walked for two hours and forty minutes... I was testing my stamina... to check if the legs and everything is good... and it was...
The last year was my first year of retirement... and I enjoyed it very much... The only thing I miss is the vigor and rowdy energy of the young people...
But that is compensated by my freedom and shattering of the four-wall-confinement...
Indeed... I am free... at last...
But dear university student/friend... I still miss your smile...

...And now some more from Charlie Hebdo...
All three refer to the Armenian genocide... which Turkish government committed and now, after 100 years still denies it...

Ottoman Turkish Soldier asks: Are we not committing a genocide, my General?
Turkish General answers : Today, yes. But in a century, it’ll be a Dieudonne joke.

Note:
Auther: Luz cartoon, published in January, 2015, referencing recent statements by French Comedian Dieudonne, who was quoted as saying that the Armenian Genocide is as real as Santa Claus

Turkish Army Kills 35 Kurdish Villagers.
Kurdish Villager muses: That was a screw up. They must have taken us for Armenians.

Note:
Charb cartoon published in

2014, when reports surfaced that Turkey had attacked Kurdish villagers instead of assisting the international campaign to help save Kobane.

Gezi Park demonstrations erupted in Istanbul when developers and the Turkish givernment decided to convert the Gezi park into high rise office towers and high priced condos...
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was the Prime Minister at the time and now is the president of Turkey...

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan tells to Turkish police: ‘You can shoot. Just imagine that they are Armenians!”

Cartoon penned by Tignous during the Gezi Park protests in Turkey.

Dear university student/friend...
This year is the 100 anniversary of the Armenian Genocide...which was perpetrated by subsequent Turkish regimes...
The Turkish government denies that it ever happened... and cartoons like the ones above, in Charlie Hebdo... make things easier to take...
The Armenian Genocide is a huge blemish on human history... and its denial hurts Armenians...
There is a movement in France and elsewhere to ban the denial by legislation... which I do not share... legislating bans is contrary to free speech... and since I defend free speech, I will not be part of the movement to ban the denial by legislation...
Armenian genocide is very close to my heart... I get emotional when it's mentioned... I want the Turkish government to accept it... I want the Turkish government to make amends and reparations for it... but I do not want the governments to ban the denial... that will help no one...

Check this out...

The Turkish government commemorates the Gallipoli campaign from WWI... on March 7...
This year they decided to commemorate it on April 23 and 24... to make it coincide with the commemoration of the Armenian genocide...
And since the Turkish government has more money and resources... they hope that people will pay more attention to them than to Armenian genocide commemorations...
It pains me... Their arrogance and denial is an insult to me and all freedom loving people... Their politics with the 1.5-2 million victims is shameful...
But the French government and all the rest of the Big Brothers will participate in the commemoration of Gallipoli with the Turkish government...
So the questions to ALL...
Will it make any difference if they ban the denial of the Armenian genocide....?
Will it cover their hypocrisy... ?
After all, the French government has accepted for a fact that the Armenian Genocide took place... There are tonnes of documents proving it... but they will attend the Gallipoli ceremonies which are designed to stifle the Armenian Genocide commemorations besides the fact that it is part and parcel of Genocide instigations... by the Turkish regime of the time...
Hypocrisy...? Of course...
That's what Big Brothers do...
I do not trust them...

The World is Burning... and where are YOU...?

Beijing smog hits hazardous levels... Check it...

A yellow pollution alert, the third highest in the four-tier system, has been in place since Saturday, according to the Beijing Meteorological Bureau.
Less severe pollution is also expected in Tianjin, Hebei province and parts of Shanxi and Sichuan provinces.

The levels of PM2.5 particulates, which are the most hazardous to health, rose to 568 micrograms per cubic metre.
...And I am wondering...
Why this lady is sucking on the cigar...
Go to Beijing... the smog and pollution is FREE there... !
Go to China... Pollution is FREE in Beijing... You can suck as much as you want... till death us apart...

...And another funny fact...

A jar of clean mountain air from France sells for $845 in smog-choked Beijing

This is a jar of clean air from France which is sold in China... !

The World is on Fire... and where are you...?

They are indoctrinating kids... to be murders and killers...
Neither the Bible any other "holy" book allows that to happen...
This is a shame... and islamist-Jihadists are committing ALL this in the name of religion...
Organized religion is indeed depressing...
This is a 10-years-old kid in Islamist-Jihadist territory...
He is asked to kill these two prisoners...
and he does... one by one...
Sad commentary on any culture... on any religion...

The World is on Fire... Where do you stand...?

Be careful and balance yourself well... you might slip into space and be a speck of dust...
But balance yourself...well...
Stand up and be counted...

Does anyone still remember Ebola...? Do YOU?

Hurrah...!
New Ebola cases in the three West African countries worst affected by the deadly outbreak of the virus are declining, weekly UN figures show.
Sierra Leone and Guinea both recorded the lowest weekly total of confirmed Ebola cases since August.
Liberia, which reported no new cases on two days last week, had its lowest weekly total since June.
The death toll from the world's worst Ebola outbreak has reached 8,429 with 21,296 cases so far.

And Again the Islamist-Jihadists...
Check the metamorphosis of a young American teenager into an Islamist-Jihadist...
How it happens...? Why it happens...?
We will blame the Islamist-Jihadist social media and propaganda...! Of course we will...
By blaming them... we absolve ourselves from responsibility...
That definitely suits with the Big Brother narrative... of "We are the GOOD guys... and they are the BAD guys..."
But the question...
Why this young lad listened to them... and converted to Islam six months ago... and wants to attach Washington D.C. and kill politicians...?
How that happened... ?
May be he did not have anything in life to cherish... maybe he was unemployed... maybe he was just drifting with no hope and no one to care for him... maybe the family was fragmenting... maybe Western culture and our "democracy" had failed him... maybe he did not see the "American Dream"... the "Canadian Possibilities" at the end of the tunnel...
Maybe it is time to revive the American Dream and rejuvenate the Canadian Possibilities... May be it is time to curb the GREED of Wall Street and Bay Street... Maybe it is time to share... Maybe it is time to respect each other and cherish our diversity... Maybe it is time to say... ALL LIVES MATTER... BE IT BLACK OR WHITE OR BROWN OR YELLOW OR ANY OTHER COLOUR...
Dear young university student, my friend...
Maybe we should not curb free speech and CARE MORE and SHARE MORE...
Check what we shoot at in practicing how to kill...!
Check some of the targets used in North American military...

We teach the soldiers to shoot at the heart...
We teach them to shoot at the Arabs...
Read the passage below that I stumbled upon on the BBC... It has interesting insights...
Soldiers are taught to be killers - it's part of their job - and their training includes firing at an image of the enemy. German photographer Herlinde Koelbl has made a study of these targets and spoken to many soldiers, but a century after the start of World War One, she still hopes for a world without conflict.
When we remember certain events, they are almost always connected to images. Images are the condensed emotions that don't allow us to forget. Which images of World War One do we carry in our minds?
Although it was a war of great historical importance whose conflicts have after-effects to the present day, personal stories were rarely told in families - in marked contrast to World War Two, which is deeply rooted in the German consciousness due to the Holocaust and the guilt. We remember photos from the start of the war, on which soldiers hasten to train stations, happy and laughing, to be part of it, still feeling like heroes. But that was to change.
At the end of the war, photos show dead soldiers in the trenches, sprawled out, crooked or lying mutilated in the mud. And we also see the pictures of men returning, of tired, emaciated or wounded bodies and numbed, empty faces. They were targets, and they survived. But 10 million soldiers and six million civilians were killed in that war.
In my project Targets I look at the present day. I visited 30 countries to document the appearance of the targets with which soldiers today are conditioned to shoot, or as one trainer said: "They are supposed to learn to hit, not shoot." Another said, "It sounds cruel, but you have to learn to kill automatically in order to function."
How is he represented today - the enemy that soldiers are later expected to kill? Is he an abstract figure? Does he have a face, and if so, what kind? Has the image of the enemy changed?
Yes, it has changed. The person who accompanied me to an American shooting range explained: "My target used to be the green figure of Ivan with a red star on his helmet." The enemy was the Soviet Union. The red star has gone. New targets have appeared, figures with eastern-looking clothing and dark skin. A new enemy?
But who is the enemy? The enemy is always the other one. "I never felt guilty about killing people who deserved to die. In my eyes they deserve to die because they are the enemy. I am trained to think that way," a soldier told me.
Whichever side a soldier is on, in America, in China, in Russia or in Israel, he always believes he is on the right side. And he has to believe this in order to be willing to die. "I accepted killing and being killed. It's part of the job."
To want and to have to prove themselves in such extreme situations is an experience that they never forget. And that some of them seek again and again. "You are never more alive than when you are faced with death."
However it is not only the danger of death that stays in the memory - it is always also the question of whether they did the right thing. One soldier told me, "In Iraq a kid pointed a gun at us, and we shot him. Afterwards we noticed that the gun wasn't loaded. Then you ask yourself, 'Was it right what you were doing?' You try to suppress these thoughts, but they always come back."
Or the thoughts of an officer about his responsibility for comrades that he lost: "I should have tried to protect these guys. I should have been able to see this coming, I should have thought about this, planned for it. And that burden of guilt will last forever."

Check our disintegrating culture based on arms and might...
A 29-year-old mother was fatally shot in an Idaho Walmart when her 2-year-old son in the shopping cart grabbed a gun that was in her purse and shot her in an apparent accident, authorities said.

Why will a mother carry a gun in her purse...?
Maybe she was afraid...? ...of what...? I will ask...
The dream is vanishing... and young kids are drifting... like the kid portrayed above... who was arrested, yesterday...

Yes, we are all human beings... and belong together...
Indeed ALL of us the humans and should care for each other and share with each other...

Bullets and violence have never been the answer and they will never solve problems...
Bullets and violence will just prolong the agony and misery...

...And One Final Note...

I checked the news today... and came across this item...

The U.S. will send about 400 troops to train the moderate Syrian opposition, defense officials confirmed Thursday night.
The training is expected to begin in early spring, and the trainers will work out of sites in Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Qatar, said Cmdr. Elissa Smith, a Defense Department spokeswoman.

They trained the Iraqi Army... and when the Islamic-Jihadists attacked the soldiers abandoned their weapons and fled...
So now the Islamis-Jihadists in Syria and Iraq are armed by American Weapons...
They gave aid to the "opposition" of the regime in Syria before... and the opposition metamorphosed into the Islamist-Jihadists-ISIS of today...
Then helped the "opposition" in Libya... and now the country had fragmented and the Islamist-Jihadists are in control of large territories of Libya...
...And now they will train Syrian "opposition"...
Give me a break...
Check the three counties where the training will take place...

  • Saudi Arabia... a country where it all began... the Talaban and Ben Ladin are the products of the Saudi regime... where a blogger is jailed because of blogging... and he is sentenced to 1000 lashes and 20 years imprisonment and large sum of money as fine...
They lashed him the first 50 last Friday... this weeks is postponed because the blogger is sick...

  • Turkey... they assist the Islamist-Jihadists of Europe to travel to Syria to be trained and fight... and return to Europe for terrorist acts...
They deny that the Armenian genocide NEVER happened...
They deny democratic rights of the Kurds...
They have imprisoned more than 30 journalists... just few weeks ago...

  • Qatar... Similar to Saudi Arabia and its junior partner... where the king is supreme and the majority does not count... Where journalist are imprisoned and where if you are not from the ruling family's type of Islam you are the enemy...
All the three countries have absolutely no democratic values... but they are allies of the West... and North America...

Human GREED has no boundaries... and we are witnessing the alliance of Big Brothers... and GREED WITHOUT BORDERS...

Indeed the world is on Fire...
and
Where are you...?
