On the podium...He won the presidential elections...in Uruguay...
The presidential elections are not a "race" like two horses competing for position and more wealth...
Jose won the presidential elections to serve the people...
José Alberto "Pepe" Mujica Cordano
has been President of Uruguay since 2010. A former urban guerrilla fighter with
the Tupamaros and a member of the Broad Front coalition of left-wing parties...
In his abode...relaxing with tea...
President Mujica -
popularly known as Pepe - lives on a ramshackle farm and gives away most of his pay.
He has been
described as "the world's 'humblest' president", due to his austere
lifestyle and his donation of around 90 percent of his $12,000 (£7,500) monthly
salary to charities that benefit poor people and small entrepreneurs...
I checked the list of presidents and politicians around the world...and
Jose is indeed a unique person…He is the only one who has
not benefited from his position…
Neither the leaders of “communist” China… nor the apparatchiks of Russia or the leaders of the developing countries… I checked the position of the Palestinian leaders… and the rest… Jose is the only one in his humble position…

indeed… he donates his salary to the needy and the hungry… he is involved
with charities…He is a genuine FREEDOM FIGHTER… unlike the Jihadists
butchers of the Middle East… or the Ukrainians fighting for autonomy in
the East of Ukraine…
- Admirable
indeed… and one needs to be inspired by his example and get involved…and
make a difference like Jose, the president of Uruguay…

Jose Mujica gets $1m offer for his VW Beetle
- Uruguay's President Jose Mujica says he has been offered $1m (£630,000) for his vintage Volkswagen Beetle.
- Mr Mujica said that if he got $1m for the car, he would donate it to a programme he supports... He will donate it to charity...
- Mr Mujica, once dubbed "the poorest president in the world" because of his modest lifestyle, said the offer had come from an Arab sheikh.
The President told ...
An Arab leader from the Emirates...made the offer...
"They made me an offer," Mr Mujica, 79, told the magazine."I was a bit surprised, and at first I really didn't pay too much attention to it. But later, another offer came in, and I began to take it a little more seriously."
The president said he had "no commitment to cars" and would happily auction it.
He joked that he had not sold it so far because he needed it for his dog Manuela, famous for only having three legs.
I am sure it is an inspirational story... The Arab sheik has money to waste... He did not work for it after all, it just burst out from the ground...as oil... and the President of Uruguay has citizens who may benefit from the money... May be he can ask for more money to give to charities...
It's the weekend... Be inspired by the example...and get involved and make a difference...
May be the other presidents will follow him... may be the clergy, the Bishops and the Popes... will follow his example...
