It's the season for PEACE and Harmony...

Famed model Beverly Johnson says Bill Cosby drugged her...

Beverly Jonson: "This, to me, is not about Bill Cosby. This, to me, is about violence against women," she said. "... What I want to see happen is that women come out and speak their truth."

I really liked his show... It was decent and promoted family values, for blacks and whites and all...

But these allegation are really piling up... and it does not make sense that ALL are fabricated... 

Good roll models are rare to come... Cosby was a good roll model... and his fall is indeed Shakespearean in both style and scope... 

Why will he do what he did...? 

It is a puzzle to me... and brings to the forefront our sexist culture... as long as women are dealt as commodities for prostitution and as second class people... like the Turkish President, Erdogan, reiterated recently... Violence against women will not come to an end...

We need a change of our cultural norms... As a start, may be men should start wearing revealing dresses and women should cover up.. . may be men should start wearing make up and women should appreciate their natural beauty... 

Exploitation of ALL humans for a buck or two should be stopped...

Read below... for the latest revelations...from Beverly Johnson as she wrote in Vanity Fair...

"I was in the midst of an ugly custody battle for my only child. I needed a big break badly and appearing on 'The Cosby Show' seemed like an excellent way of getting Hollywood's attention," she writes.

She had few initial meeting with Cosby... once she even took her child with her to the meeting...

She began working on acting exercises... 

In one exercise she was portraying a drunk...

He asked her to have a drink from his cappuccino machine...

...And,

"I knew by the second sip of the drink Cosby had given me that I'd been drugged -- and drugged good," she writes.

Cosby then asks her to approach him.

"He put his hands around my waist, and I managed to put my hand on his shoulder in order to steady myself. As I felt my body go completely limp, my brain switched into automatic-survival mode," she writes. "That meant making sure Cosby understood that I knew exactly what was happening at that very moment."

Then, she calls Cosby "motherfucker," repeatedly...

"By the fifth (epithet), I could tell that I was really pissing him off," she writes.

Cosby yanks her down some stairs "as my high heels clicked and clacked on every step. I feared my neck was going to break with the force he was using to pull me down those stairs," she writes. 

He then hailed a taxi and deposited her inside.

There is a P.S. to the story...

She calls the house few days later... Beverly Johnson wanted him to "come clean and explain why he'd done what he had."

His wife answers the phone and tells that it is late and that they are in bed... Johnson said she will call again...but never does...

"In the end, just like the other women, I had too much to lose to go after Bill Cosby," she writes, adding that she was worried what telling the story would do to her career at a time when she was financially stretched because of her divorce.

Tragedies...

• The District Attorney revealed that there's a "strong possibility" the teen wasn't alone when fire started... in the car...
• Man who saw teen before death says, "She was quiet that day, real quiet"... was she threatened...? was she hiding something...?
• Emergency  help found her badly burned on a rural road in Northwest Mississippi

Today is her funeral...

When the violence against women stop... in the U.S. and all around the World?

Jihadists are aware that they are abusing women...

They are aware that they are  committing violence against women...

They are conscious of their crimes against humanity... 

... and they are using religion as their fig leaf to cover they abuse and violence... 

No matter what people say... whoever is condoning or attempting to rationalize the Islamic-Jihadist violence they are part of it...

If we do not condemn the Jihadist violence, then we are part of it...

Do not aid and abate the violence against women in any shape or form...

A change of cultural norms is the order of the day...

Islamic Jihadists have just published a glossy and colourful magazine in which they compile Islamic-Jihadist rules of conduct…

•  Question: Can you take a non-Muslim women and children captive?  Answer: Yes…
• Question: Can you have sex with the captive women and children, even juveniles?  Answer: yes…
•  Can you sell them or give them as gifts to other? Answer: yes…

 In Mosul, the city under Jihadist rule… have received these instructions after the weekly Friday prayer… Jihadist armed fighters have distributed the brochures… It’s the “Questions and Answers on Female Slaves and their Freedom…”

The brochure explains that capturing women is allowed… if the women are non-believers, that is if they are not the Jihadist version of Islam… it explains that… “Female slaves are the women that Muslims took from their enemies.”

In much of the brochure they explain Qurans policy, that is Islamist-Jihadist policy, on having sexual intercourse with female slaves… They support their rules and regulation by citing the Quran…

• If the slave is a virgin, then the owner can have sex with her right away…
• If she is not a virgin, then her uterus must be “purified”… the owner has to wait for the female’s period to be sure that she is not pregnant…
• If two men own the same slave… then only one of them can have sex with her…
• A man cannot have intercourse with his wife’s slaves…
• It is allowed to have sex with women who have not reached puberty… “if she is fit for intercourse…however, if she is not fit for intercourse, he, i.e. the owner, can only enjoy her without intercourse…”
• An impregnated female cannot be sold…
•  Beating a female slave for discipline is permissible…But beating for pleasure is not allowed…

        Condemn the Jihadist violence... against women and against humanity...

Power Politics...

The Church has imitated the power politics of Big Brothers... 

The Church will negotiate with the devil, if need be, for a buck or two...

I do not believe that change in style and change of Pope will be sufficient...

If they want us to believe in them... let them "sell their riches and follow Jesus..." Isn't that what Jesus told the rich prince...!

The Dalai Lama is in Italy and wants to meet the Pope... But the Pope refuses... in order to please the Chinese Big Brothers... So as they will resolve the dispute between the Catholic Church and the Chinese government...
The Pope should do what is right not what is politically more expedient...
I have a a revulsion of organized religion... whether it come from Christian quarters - Catholic, Orthodox, Born Again...or any other Christian sect... or whether it comes from Islamist Jihadists...
Organized religion - the Church, just like organized politics - the state,  is a power grab... and disenfranchises the people... 
Organized power, be it Church or state, is the perversion of the will of people... and is neither religious nor democratic...

And a GOOD beginning...

It is stupid to grow a tree for a decade and then chop it down... display it for a week or to... and then throw it away... It is not only ridiculous, but stupid... and not environmentally sound... 

In Bay Area, near San Francisco..., Dean Rafini, a fire fighter, was bothered about the Christmas tree chopping and throwing tradition and thought of a better way... Watching TV he heard about Scot "Scotty Claus" Martin and his business plan... to rent live Christmas trees...

It indeed made sense...

...and here is how it works...

1. Customer's choose the type and size of their tree on line...

2. They indicate their pick up or delivery dates... on line

3. Then the elves, the business owner takes care of the rest...

4. The trees are kept in pots...and maintained throughout the year...

5. When the trees grow to big to be rented out...they are replanted in urban landscapes or in the wilderness...

6. The cost will vary and range from $130 to$255, plus delivery charge...

7. One may request the same tree year after year... till it grows up and is not viable for a Christmas tree...

Wonderful idea… it even beats the artificial trees…

You will have a good fresh Christmas tree… which smells nice… and it will be recycled too…

I put up outside lights too... not as extravagant as my neighbour's... but enough to be noticed...
Our house is in joy too...
I have been lazy, but soon I will put up our Christmas tree too...
The Prince of PEACE is coming to town...
