Nuking a hurricane is just like attempting to defend against a charging elephant or a lion by throwing tennis balls at them... 
You maybe able to nuke Hiroshima and Nagasaki... the West may threaten to nuke North Korea... But we cannot nuke our way out of Mother Nature's fury...
We just cannot nuke hurricanes... Mother Nature will have the last say... We may cause climate change... and then Nature will retaliate more fiercely and with a greater vengeance...
Nature eventually will tame human behaviour... We have to cooperate with Nature... or Nature will force us to behave...

During each hurricane season, there always appear suggestions that one should simply use nuclear weapons to try and destroy the storms. Apart from the fact that this might not even alter the storm, this approach neglects the problem that the released radioactive fallout would fairly quickly move with the trade-winds to affect land areas and cause devastating environmental problems. Needless to say, this is not a good idea...

As the humanitarian crisis in South Asia continued to grow, Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu wrote to his fellow Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi, begging her to stop the violence.

"I am ... breaking my vow of silence on public affairs out of profound sadness about the plight of the Muslim minority in your country, the Rohingya," he wrote in an open letter, posted on his official Twitter.

Aung San Suu Kyi, the de facto ruler of Myanmar as state counselor, has repeatedly come under criticism for her lack of action to help the Rohingya, a stark contrast to her previous image as a champion of human rights.

In his letter, Tutu described Suu Kyi as "a beloved younger sister," and how he used to keep a photo of her on his desk to remind him of the woman who symbolized "righteousness" in the world."But what some have called 'ethnic cleansing' and others 'a slow genocide' has persisted -- and recently accelerated. The images we are seeing of the suffering of the Rohingya fill us with pain and dread," he said.

The former archbishop said any country which was "not at peace with itself" was not a free country. "If the political price of your ascension to the highest office in Myanmar is your silence, the price is surely too steep," he said.

The ongoing Saudi-led military campaign against Yemen's Shia Houthi population has prompted a string of humanitarian crises. According to UNICEF, a child dies every 10 minutes in the war-torn country from preventable causes like diarrhea, breathing infections and malnutrition.

She lost her entire family. It's been 10 days since they died and she still asks her uncle when her parents will visit her...

Late at night, Buthaina wakes up screaming and crying, said her aunt Samah al-Raimi, who has been sleeping next to her. The woman added that she has trouble knowing whether the source of Buthaina's anguish is physical pains or bad dreams about the deadly night.

About 164,000 Rohingya Muslims have poured into Bangladesh from Myanmar's Rakhine state since violence erupted two weeks ago. They say the military and Rakhine Buddhists are destroying their villages to drive them out after attacks by Rohingya militants on police posts.

The government rejects this, saying the militants and Muslim residents are burning their own villages. But the BBC's South East Asia correspondent Jonathan Head says he saw a Muslim village that had just been set on fire, apparently by a group of Rakhine Buddhists. Here he describes what he witnessed:

Erdogan cannot white wash himself and his fascist ideology by aiding the Rohingyas... First he should respect the rights of Kurds and minorities in Turkey... He should recognize the Armenian Genocide... He should accept the verdict of history and recognize the Genocides of Armenians, Pontus Greeks and Assyrians...

Turkey’s President Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday he was pressing world leaders to do more to help Myanmar’s Rohingya Muslims, who face what he has described as genocide.

Erdogan says:

“You watched the situation that Myanmar and Muslims are in,” Erdogan said in Istanbul, where he was attending the funeral of a Turkish soldier. “You saw how villages have been burnt... Humanity remained silent to the massacre in Myanmar”.

But, 

There are few things that Erdogan, just an opportunist-fascist from the ranks of the world 1%, forgets...

1. The Turkish guards punched and kicked peaceful demonstrators in Washington D.C. just few months ago... and the U.S. Congress condemned the violence and the Turkish guards were charged and convicted for the violence...

Erdogan has no credibility as a democrat... He has brutally killed and displaced Kurds in Turkey... very much like the Myanmar-Burmese army is doing to the Rohingya Muslims...

Erdogan is using religion to advance his "humanitarian" image... while he is persecuting the Kurdish Muslim minority in Turkey... Clearly religion is a sham and just a cover up for the naked emperor...

2. Erdogan's Turkey has imprisoned more than 200 reporters, journalists... and has arrested human rights activists in the thousands... Erdogan's Turkey has closed leading newspapers because of their opposition to his semi-fascistic regime...

3. Erdogan is referring to "genocide of the Rohingyas..." But he covers up the Armenian, Pontean-Greek and Assyrian genocides in his own country...

My grandparents told me that the Turks opened the wombs of pregnant women with their bayonets and then paraded the fetus on sticks... My grandparents told me that they ordered the Armenian women to take their cloths off and doused them with kerosene... ordered them to dance in circles and eventually burned them alive... They raped Armenian girls and afterwards crucified them naked... 

Erdogan has no credit as a humanitarian and his false tears are just to earn credit for his fascist regime... If he is genuinely concerned about the misery of the Rohingyas in Myanmar-Burma, then let him acknowledge the truth about the Armenian, Pontean Greek and Assyrian genocides...

The Turks crucified Armenian girls... and starved the children or stuck a bayonet on their bellies... Indeed men are "the most vicious of all animals..." and that is precisely why we need people to help each other and reject the atrocities of the 1%... For all the evil and suffering in the world the 1% of the world is responsible...

Musk speculated that an AI system could choose to start a war "if it decides that a prepemptive [sic] strike is most probable path to victory."

And neither the leaders in North America and Europe 

nor the leaders in North Korea and China and India... are 

AI intelligent...

Tone down the rhetoric from both sides... No one won in 

Iraq... No one won in Syria... and no one, absolutely no 

one will win in North Korea...

People will die in vain... 

Peace is the better and the ONLY option...
