Agency, in the US... and then mother nature came and 

bite them... with a vengeance... Now Huston is under a 

toxic soup that they need to look after...

The imam has never been to Huston... He is from Toronto and at the time of the storm he was in Saudi Arabia for pilgrimage...

A man has reacted with surprise to seeing his photograph used in a fake story spread on social media that an Imam kept a mosque's doors closed to Storm Harvey victims. Ibrahim Hindy, a Canadian Imam from Toronto, identified himself in the photograph used in a story which claimed Imam "Aswat Turads" of "Ramashan mosque" near Houston refused to help flood victims and said "we are forbidden from helping infidels." Storm Harvey brought devastating floods and displaced thousands of people while many centres or volunteers offered shelter and assistance to victims. However, Mr Hindy claims he has never been to Texas and during the flooding he was in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, performing the Hajj pilgrimage.

• Another story was also published on Daily Post Feed, which also claims to be satirical... and every few hours they changed the photo of the imam appearing in the news item...

The conservative right wing and the racist people, there are lots of them in the West... in Europe and North America... may cover themselves by dubbing themselves as satirical sites... 

But, what the fuck... satire has morality too... you cannot cover racism and lies under the cover of satire...

They may blame the imams... They may spread there racist poison on the internet through their webs...

But the truth cannot be covered under the guise of satire...

"Our commitment among the allies are ironclad," Mattis said. "Any threat to the United States or its territories, including Guam, or our allies will be met with a massive military response, a response both effective and overwhelming."

Frankfurt WW2 bomb: Mass evacuation completed

 

About 65,000 Frankfurt residents have left their homes for the day to allow experts to defuse a massive unexploded bomb from World War Two.

Police say the defusing operation has begun following the biggest evacuation in post-war German history. Police checked every designated house with heat-detection technology to make sure everyone was out.

Bomb disposal experts in Frankfurt have successfully defused a massive left over bomb from World War Two... It was an unexploded bomb which was defused and the people can return to their homes now...

Looking at the unexploded bomb... it resembles very much to the barrel bombs of the Syrian civil war... In Syria they exploded without mercy... killing many and maiming thousands...

During the Sept. 1 school board meeting, Donnelly said the issue was being debated better there than in the state Legislature. And while the Confederate flags — long a symbol of racism and hatred to some and patriotism to others — have triggered ire with some students and parents, Donnelly said “The right to not be offended does not exist in our Constitution.”

The number of journalists in pretrial detention on the basis of their writing and journalistic activities surpassed 200, making Turkey once again a world leader in jailing journalists. 
Presenting no evidence of criminal wrongdoing, authorities detained many reporters and columnists employed by media outlets linked to the political opposition... Among those jailed pending investigation were veteran journalists and commentators who have been prominent government critics such as Nazlı Ilıcak, Şahin Alpay, Ahmet Altan, and Mehmet Altan.

Turkish-Armenian writer Sevan Nisanyan, who has been serving a 17-year prison term  since 2014 has escaped from the correctional facility where he was being held and fled Turkey, according to Turkish media reports. A message on his Twitter page said: “The bird flew away: Same wishes to the remaining 80 million.” Nisanyan was arrested and jailed because of his opposition to the dictatorial fascist regime of Turkey...

The hearing did not go well for Tollison...  Judge Benningfield ruled that her continued missteps and her lack of employment made her unfit for home arrest. He ordered her to serve out the rest of her sentence in the county jail. Shortly afterward...  Benningfield made a surprising announcement to the entire courtroom: a new programme would allow inmates like Tollison to shave time off her sentence - 30 days - if she agreed to sign up for a free long-lasting form of birth control.  And for the male inmates, Benningfield's new order would offer free vasectomies. Not long after Tollison arrived to the jail, sign-up sheets started going around to have an implant called Nexplanon inserted, which prevents pregnancy for up to four years.  Tollison signed up, along with at least 30 other women.  And over on the men's side, 38 men signed up for vasectomies. With an average daily population of 221 inmates, that represented a sizeable portion of the jail.

Rohingya are the Muslims in Burma... They were stripped of their citizenship and now they are stateless... The Burmese army, under the leadership of Aung San Suu Kyi is massacring them and driving them out of Burma to neighbouring Bangladesh...

Almost 75,000 Rohingya have fled... many are murdered and their houses burned down...

They have come in their thousands, crossing hills and rivers, marshes and rice paddies for the chance to cross into Bangladesh and escape the mass killings they say are being perpetrated against their people.

The UN estimates that, in just one week, almost 50,000 Rohingya -- a stateless, ethnic Muslim minority who largely inhabit Myanmar's western Rakhine state -- have fled escalating violence.


All of this isn’t happening under the watch of a mad military dictatorship in an impoverished corner of the globe. These are the actions of Aung San Suu Kyi, a Nobel Peace laureate and winner of the Presidential Medal of Freedom...

Pastor Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church is opening its doors to flood victims in Houston after all...

The hypocritical irony here seems obvious, because Osteen is one of America's leading proponents of prosperity theology, the so-called theory that God blesses good Christians with material wealth. He makes the case that the Lord has blessed him because of his piousness, and his bank account is proof. Osteen is worth some $50 million, lives in a $10.5 million home, and says "it's God's will for you to live in prosperity instead of poverty."

Parishioners, who are told to tithe as much as 10% of their monthly income 
prosperity gospel megachurches feed into income inequality with their specious claims that affluence is a reflection of God's approval (and on the flip side, that poverty must come from some absence of faith).

Osteen reluctantly opened the doors of his church to the flood victims in Huston...
He first refused... then scummed to criticism... 
What kind of God worshipers are these pastors...?

Here is another one...In North Carolina, another pastor... Steven Furtick of Elevation megachurch... lives in luxury and he also insists that it's God will for people to live in prosperity and of course... if you are not prosperous and rich, they say you have SINNED and that's God's punishment...

Creflo Dollar said he needs $65 million Gulfstream jet to help him spread the good word, and of course had the nerve to ask his parishioners to pay for it...
